- OEOlivia Endries4 days ago1.0Not impressed with this snorkel rental company. Online, in a brochure, and on the awning it all said it was $1.5/day for a set. I went in today, and it was $12.5 for a single day, I got two sets so it was $25 total. I didn’t question the person as I assumed I misread but looked into it more carefully after and did not see any underwriting on how the price can change. It clearly reads $1.5/day per set, so I was very confused why I was charged so much. Not sure if I was getting scammed and the price only would have been that amount if I brought proof of the price somewhere or what. If you go here definitely be aware of this before renting, you might not get the price you see advertised.

We also rented life vests (highly recommend if you are going in open water) Rash guards and other beach supplies available for purchase Dave was very helpful and friendly, he got everyone fitted with the correct size mask and fins. He also gave us recommendations on where to snorkel and where to park

Not only did they have great selection of things to rent and buy, they gave great suggestions of what beaches to skimboard on or if you rented snorkel gear like the family in front of us, places to snorkel. I would highly recommend Boss Frogs!
- FKFathima KhajaJan 1, 20265.0Great place to rent snorkeling gear while you are in Kona. We rented snorkeling masks, fins, life jackets and they have so many options with prescription as well. Danny helped us with everything and is super friendly! Easy pick up and drop off. They have anything you need while you are here. GoPro rental, full face snorkeling masks, surfboard, snorkeling vests. Great place. Highly recommend!
- KSKimble SpillmanJan 1, 20261.0I have never dealt with such a jerk as I did here. I had booked online which apparently was the biggest waste of time. What should have been a quick pickup turned into me waiting forever for them to not even have their online system sync with their in store system. After the whole thing not being what I expected, the man was an absolute jerk. I understand that you want to upsell and I understand that you get what you pay for but there is a nice way to do it and what this man did was not that. I’m sure the equipment is great but the service was horrible. Definitely would find someone else next time.
