We prefer smaller campsites and this didn't disappoint. About 50 pitches on different levels with numerous water points so no long walks. The toilet block is spotless with great hot showers. Stockbridge is a short drive, there are walks but one involves walking on the A30 for a short distance. Not good with a dog but ok. It's a very good campsite with friendly wardens, we will be back.

Accueil sympathique ! Même après 18h30 Une dame est venu à notre rencontre en raison d’une route barrée en raison de travaux que nous n’osions pas franchir! Personnels serviables…..Infrastructures très propres! Endroit calme ! L’emplacement aurait pu être plus Lovely 😉

We stayed at Salisbury Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite and were genuinely impressed by how well the site is run from the moment we rolled in. Elaine and Marion deserve a special shout‑out — they were absolutely spectacular. Friendly, helpful, and clearly proud of the site. They made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived and even ensured we had the right tools to pitch our awning securely. The campsite itself is peaceful, with the small exception of the local cockerel, who didn’t seem entirely sure what time of day his singing performances were meant to start! Nature’s alarm clock, whether you asked for it or not. Facilities were immaculate throughout our stay — hot showers, spotless toilets, an outdoor kitchen area, plus an indoor washing machine and tumble dryer that actually work well (a rare treat on some sites). Everything felt clean, cared for, and easy to use. Location‑wise, it’s a short drive into Salisbury for shops, supplies, and civilisation. On foot, however, we found the site a little isolated, with limited walking routes directly from the campsite. Not a deal‑breaker, but worth knowing if you like to wander straight from your pitch and prefer not to drive once you’re set up. A couple of gentle suggestions that could make a great site even better: ☆ A small on‑site shop selling local produce would be a lovely touch — or even inviting local food vans for themed evenings. It would add a bit of buzz and support local businesses without disturbing the peaceful vibe. ☆ There are plenty of cubicles in the toilet and shower block, but with it being the only one on the campsite, ending up close to it is mostly down to luck unless you book early (which we did for medical reasons). A second block would make things much easier for anyone without onboard facilities who would like to set up camp elsewhere on the site. Overall, we had a really enjoyable stay. The warmth of the site managers, the peaceful nature of the site, and the spotless facilities make this a solid choice for a relaxing break — and we’d happily return.

Excellent site with good, very clean facilities (showers & toilets). Accessible shower & toilet also excellent. The pitches are well-maintained and the site is very quiet with nothing but birdsong to be heard! Wardens were easily contactable but we didn’t need them past check-in. Check-in was very easy. Will definitely stay again. We stayed Easter weekend and the whole site was fully booked - it was still easy to get a shower and there was no noise on site at all.
