Longleat Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite in Warminster is set in beautiful parkland in the midst of the lovely Longleat Estate in Wiltshire, where you can hear lions roaring at night from the comfort of your bed. The famous Safari Park, fist to be opened outside Africa, is on the doorstep of the site. It is also the perfect location to pitch up your tent on our tent pitches. With beautiful walks, cycling, several pubs within a 2 mile radius, a short drive to Bath or Bristol, a games room, play area and playground this site is perfect for families, couples and friends.

- KHKaren Hart1 day ago5.0Lovely site, ship in reception had everything required. Food van had lovely fish and chips. Toilets all clean. Internet fairly good but phone signal shocking had to go off site to find a decent signal. Nearest pub a walk up a hill but able to get Uber back . pitch good but unfortunately people short cutting across it as on route to the toilets so wouldn't choose same again if went back

- LLLeoTAug 23, 20265.0Great site, on the doorstep to te Safari Park. The site itself is well spread out, pitches around 9m x 9m, and water not too far away. A number of services blokes for those that use them and the staff very pleasant and helpful. We spent 3 days there, did some walking at a nearby lake, plus visited the Safari Park. Would definitely return as there is plenty more to do in the area.

Our second time staying here, it's the perfect place for visiting the safari park, you can hear the lions ( sea and land😉) from your pitch, brilliant 😁. So why only three stars? There's no phone signal. There wasn't the last time four years ago. It's 2026, people want internet access, but the WiFi is garbage, as it was last time. Come on, you know the reception is crap, get the WiFi situation sorted.
- AIalice ineverylandAug 15, 20265.0Highly recommend. We based our holiday around longleat safari park. You can join the que to get in at 9.45 and be one of the 1st cars in. We had a electric pitch. Very clean toilets and showers. The site is lovely and quite (no one kept us up) however I was woken up at 7am every morning by tractors going up and down into the safari park. The shop doesn't open till 9am and closes again at 10am but it does stock essentials at reasonable prices Family room shuts at 6 which I think is a little early. Not much in there but we enjoyed playing dominios and cards. The playground was a big hit with lots of children playing till 9/10pm so if you want a early night id suggest a pitch away from the park. Dog friendly site A Robin kept coming into the tent

What types of pitch are available?

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.
How do I book an overseas site?

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.
Can I book different pitch types throughout a stay?

Are standard motorhomes welcome?
Trailer tents and folding campers are considered the equivalent to a caravan, rather than a tent so they are therefore accepted on Club campsites that wouldn�t normally permit conventional tents. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are self-build conversions welcome?
Yes, roof top tents are welcome at our Club campsites. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.

A reminder will be sent a few weeks before your membership expiry date. You can renew online or by calling our Contact Centre on 01342 318 813.

There are no arrivals to the Club campsite after 8pm. If you encounter a problem with your journey, please contact the Club campsite before 6pm.
