My daughter and her friend arrived at the campsite not knowing there were no tents allowed. The kindness of strangers helped them out only to be told to unpitch their tents and leave, despite it being late and one woman was injured. When my daughter asked if they would know of anywhere else they could go, they offered no information. Diabolical that two women, one limping, were stranded with nowhere to go. Shame on you. I had to drive for 75 minutes to pick them up.

Stayed 4 nights here this last week with hubby & dog, great little site, shower blocks are old however, spotlessly clean and are due to be demolished and replaced in the autumn. Killin is a lovely village, recommend popping into McGregors Community store! Finlarig Castle, 8-10 mins walk from the site, is worth an explore too. Tarmachan Ridge and Ben Lawers main car park is 6 miles away (£4 for a days parking, free for NT members), so very handy for a day walking the hills! Only thing I'd recommend to the site team would be the addition of some dog poop bins around the site, if you're up the top end, it's a fair trek down to the main entrance to get rid of the poo bags! 😉 Will definitely recommend the site and intend to come back!

This is a Caravan and Motorhome Club site on the outskirts of the beautiful village of Killin. We fell in love with the site, the village (very friendly residents too) and the surrounding countryside. The site’s on the banks of the river Lockay, with some pitches backing onto the river. Consequently, it’s ideal for canoeing and paddle boarding. Other pitches benefit from spectacular views, no matter what the weather’s doing. It was so hot when we were there that I had to go to the outdoors shop to buy something cooler than I’d packed. A short walk down the road next to the site will take you to Loch Tay. We were lucky that the Bluebells were flowering when we were there and their fragrance walking to and from the loch was heady. The site is immaculate, due to the hard work of the wardens. A local butcher visits the site once a week - it’s definitely worth buying a few bits from him, whether for a breakfast, or dinner. The village itself is surrounded by hills and mountains, with the spectacular Falls of Dochart passing under the bridge in the middle of the village. Whilst the facilities block on the site was old, it too was beautifully maintained - and it’s being demolished at the end of the season for a new block to be ready for next year. There’s lots of interesting places to visit in the area (we loved the Scottish Crannog Centre) and we had a wonderful meal at the Falls of Dochart Inn (next to the bridge). Definitely one of our favourites. I can’t wait for another visit!

Fabulous motorhome site, exceptional customer service from the friendly wardens, pitches spacious and right along the picturesque river - Toilets/ shower blocks were immaculate, plenty of hot water and well maintained - the area itself is outstanding! Lots of walks, waterfalls, stone circle, and not too busy. Loved it and will return 🙌
