Freshwater East Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite
very clean and picturesque camp site, Lovely surroundings. Right by the beach, and great base for the coastal walks, really friendly and helpful staff, Not much to do in Freshwater East ( There is 1 pub 2 mins walk away that has a lovely outdoor seating area and serves food) but if you don't want to do anything or need a base for near the beach then it's perfect, would highly recommended

Lovely site close to the beach. There's a pay and display car park available right at the entrance to the campsite if you're arriving before their 1pm check in, with loads of room if you're on the large side. (gravel and no designated painted bays or ANPR cameras) (+4hrs £8 for a car or £16 for a coach at time of writing)
On site, Toilets and showers very clean, tidy and fresh looking. There are some rooks in the trees some 300 ish yards away from the site "cawing" most of the day but its not obtrusive noise. The grounds are well kept, as well as the amply sized pitches, with a few bunnies scurrying about. Everyone very friendly and talkative.
Zero phone reception (EEsim) and was told the public BT wifi wasn't great either so you'd better have Starlink if you want to be online.
Local pub / restaurant within 15 min walk, beach within 10 mins and not too steep either.
Will definitely be coming back to this one!

A great caravan & campervan site. Very well maintained & staff visible all day (with numerous friendly waves of hello as they go about their business). Generous sized pitches (enough for caravan+awning+car) plenty of power points & water outlets. 2 very good shower blocks with plenty of cubicle, showers , sinks etc. And plenty of hooks in shower for all clothes, towels, toiletries etc. Whole place was VERY dog friendly too. There was also a treasure hunt in full time operation, where children could search for markings & plaques on trees / posts etc to keep them occupied. Also, there was a nice play area (swing & slide etc). There was an onsite food truck on Tues (fish & chips) & Thursday (pizza) while we were there. Not sure if they do other days / foods. The beach is real close (5 mins walk through adjacent carpark). Lovely safe beach & sand dunes. Lots of dogs there too. Big pub / restaurant (Jacks) nearby (between carpark & beach). Only 2 caveats - Freshwater East itself is at the bottom of 2 hills and it's a bit of a trek to walk back to 'town'. So you have to bring your own entertainment & good supplies of food if staying for a while (no shops) or have a car to drive away. Also because of hills, the internet is non existent. No phone signal either (emergency calls only), but - there is free site wifi , unlimited data for 4 hours at slow speed (2 meg). You can reactivate as often as you want. There is a paid option that lasts longer & is much faster (there is 1 day, 5 day , weekly, yearly options ). On the whole I would hardly recommend and will stay again.
