Lovely caravan & motorhome site. Always seems to be busy. Feel that toilet and washing facilities need to be bigger in comparison to other sites. Lots of noisy wood pigeons in the mating season! Great takeaway food options on site on certain days. Staff first class with everything.

I have never booked a club site until this one. Now the wife says I must look at the club sites first. I have to admit, the site is great. Great facilities, great pitches, great staff, great location, and itvis kept in an immaculate condition. Worth booking if you are this way.

We stayed at Sandringham Estate club last week for 5 days and absolutely feel in love with the site. It had recently had some money spent and you could see this right front the start as you enter via the ANPR camera self check in. We stayed on a hard standing with awning pitch which was massive. We stayed at the back of the site on pitch 143 (see picture attached) and it was such a beautiful view each morning. The facilities were very modern and extremely clean. The family bathrooms were a great addition, my three daughters loved having a bath on site. The walks through the woods were peaceful and you can walk to Sandringham visitor centre within 30-40 mins. Such a fantastic site and I will certainly be returning! My only negative was the two food stalls we ate from ( fish & chip van and Taste of India) the wait from both vendors was incredibly long. I waited 45 mins for two portions of chips as they were serving each order in order number. The India curry I had was sadly tasteless and wasn’t a chicken tikka as described, served with over cooked white plain rice. It was bank holiday week and the site was nearly full but I just wanted to share my experience with using the two external vendors.

Great welcome. Wardens are fantastic on this site. Well spaced out pitches of various types. Facilities are modern and always clean. Park on site and lots of trails leading from the site including onto the wider Sandringham estate. Some local produce at the site shop and food vendors visit the site including an ice cream van and fish & chip van. Phone signal is non-existent, take this as a positive or negative as you please.

I have to say that this is one of the better CAMC sites we have stayed on, and it’s clear that a significant amount of money has recently been invested in the site. The grounds are immaculate, extremely well maintained, and all of the staff we encountered were friendly, welcoming, and helpful throughout our stay. The new toilet and shower block was excellent. It was particularly refreshing to have proper taps in the shower cubicles rather than the usual annoying push-button controls! We are members of both the Caravan and Motorhome Club and the Caravan and Camping Club, but we specifically chose this site because of the availability of hard-standing, fully serviced pitches. I also really liked the automated check-in process. Being able to drive straight through the barrier and find your pitch without needing to visit reception was incredibly convenient. Once you’ve chosen your pitch, you simply reply to a text message to confirm where you are staying — a very efficient and modern system. The site is also ideally located for visiting the many attractions in the area and exploring the coastline. Another highlight for us was the on-site catering. The coffee kiosk was a lovely addition, and we particularly enjoyed the Indian food available during our stay. Pizza and fish & chip vans also visited the site, which added to the overall experience. The only significant downside for my wife and me was the severe lack of Wi-Fi and mobile phone signal. In today’s world, internet access is important for many people, even if not for everyone, and it is definitely something potential visitors may wish to consider before booking. To be fair, mobile coverage appeared poor throughout the wider area and wasn’t noticeably better at nearby locations either. There is a premium Wi-Fi option available on site, but for us it simply wasn’t worth paying extra for, as the performance was no better than the free service. In fact, the office staff were very honest about this and advised that if the free connection was insufficient, the premium service was unlikely to improve matters significantly. Overall, this site fully deserves a 4-star review from me. Had the internet and mobile connectivity been better, it would easily have been a solid 5-star experience. Unfortunately, unless this improves in the future, it’s unlikely we would return — despite the many positives the site has to offer.
