At £57 per night this is the most expensive site we've stayed at in 40yrs of caravaning. For this money we expect the facilities and staff to be at least as good as other CAMC sites, it isn't, not by a long chalk. The site has 123 pitches serviced by one fairly central toilet block. Whilst the showers are nice and powerful with ample hot water yet again there is totally inadequate air extraction making the whole bloke like a sauna. There are just 5 usable mens loo's, I'll let you do the maths and wait times on that one! The site is tired, very tired and does not warrant the high cost. The advertised children's playground is, in the main, unusable and taped off as it has been, apparently, for several years which really isn't good enough.
The wardens, I've often thought this is the wrong terminology for our hosts, but on occasion, this being one of them, the term does suit. I fail to see why our guards found it necessary to do evening inspections of each pitch proudly wearing their high viz, clipboard in hand and giving each outfit a break stride look. Particularly laughable was the guard who saw me with my two elderly dogs in the totally vacated unserviced field, certainly an acre or so of grass and nothing else, as I tossed the ball 4 or 5 yards to them in turn. Well, far too much for the, I dont use lightly, jobsworth warden. I watched him walk briskly towards me from his duties at the gate turning round guests who'd dared to turn up ½ an hour early, 'Dogs on a lead, no exceptions', he barked before uttering his reasoning and turning on his heals. A true hospitality gesture, very similar to the surly, rude youth masquerading as a lifeguard at the pool. I dont actually blame said youth, I blame the staff who employed him, he clearly didn't want to be there and should therefore have either had some direction or told to join the army.
A very lovely part of the world and we will be back but not to the Seacroft CAMC.

On an all is a great place, just the restaurant chef wasn't very formidable, but I supouse everything else it was great.
My wife complain about her breakfast because the food was fool of salt and pepper and she does not eat salt and pepper I think not one does, thats why normally it's at the table for you to do it your self, and instead we got rude attitude for asking g for a new breakfast. Expensive breakfast that was,not a piece of mind.
The swimming pool amazing, will return again just not food for me😉👌
