Very quiet location. Nice grounds/trees. Toilet/showroom facilities good condition and clean. Site is clean and well maintained. Staff friendly. Down sides.... coast is a good 30 min walk away, you need transport of some description. Inconsiderate dog owners not cleaning up after their dogs (staff asked people to pick dog ploop up but they just said it wasn't theirs and left it), no bar/cafe on site, but occasional fish & chips and pizza sellers come to site.

Nice and clean site, showers and facilities excellent however I don’t understand the excessive amount of “dogs must not…”, signs. We visit a lot of family and dog friendly sites and felt a little unwelcome here. The male shower blocks being closed for cleaning at 10am seems a little bizarre too. It’s the premium time for bathroom with a family of boys, surely a more off peak time would be more appropriate. Probably won’t visit again. Thanks

Lovely site, friendly wardens and quite close to the sea a short walk through fields will lead you to the promenade.

Mixed - good site, clean, tidy, well maintained and good facilities … arrival was friendly - but after that it all went downhill a bit …. there is little consistency in how they enforced the rules with some being granted lots of flexibility, (to the extent they don’t seem to apply) and others not ! Dogs on lead (ours was at all times except inside our enclosed awning) - many were not! Awning too big and only just acceptable (apparently) - yet our awning is a standard size awning, and smaller than many others on site! - we have used it at all the other club sites we have visited with no problem! (think we were unlucky with the pitch we chose as it made it look like we were using more space than we actually were.)! Why are caravans and cars are allowed to be closer to the pitch next door and use double the space motorhomes are allowed even though you are paying for the same pitch type? (I get fire regs ect - but surely it should be the same for everyone?) Other families with kids getting told they couldn’t play games on the grass area when they weren’t bothering anyone, were playing beautifully and keeping themselves entertained! (All the while being respectful to those around them) - seems a bit excessive for a family site - we don’t have kids and had no problem with them playing nearby! We get there are rules… but apply them consistently and fairly so that they all apply in the same way to everyone! Would we come back ? …. Undecided! Many positives, and we were enjoying a relaxing long weekend! The site is a short walk to the beach (with a pub on route) , there is a dog off-lead area which was useful, and lots of places to walk nearby, the site was generally quiet, but it just got a bit ridiculous waiting to see who the wardens would moan at next and for what reason this time…. Might try again … might not - we will see!
