  Booked a ferry pitch for our return journey. We missed our ferry so would miss check in. Rang to let them know that it might be after midnight. Lady said that could be a problem but then said she can sort it. She checked with someone else who said they'd done it right. Arrived at 11.45pm and couldn't get in through the barrier. Thought best wait to after midnight which we did. Barrier still didn't open. Only a land line to contact which of course was closed. Went into an information room which was thankfully open and located a mobile number so phoned them and a man came over and popped a cute into the barrier. Despite booking a ferry pitch I was given a different pitch but was told when they opened the barrier to use a ferry pitch due to the arrival time so that we didn't disturb others. So if the barrier had opened and we went to the pitch they gave us originally we could have disturbed a few people whilst we set up. The site itself is clean and shower block is nice. Not sure if book again though due to the issues we had

  Nachdem der Campingplatz letztes Jahr komplett erneuert wurde, erstrahlt er in neum Glanz. Alle Wege wurden neu verlegt, alle Stellplätze neu eingeebnet und mit Strom und Wasser versorgt. Die Sanitäranlagen wurden neu errichtet, bieten reichlich Platz, sind hell und sauber und fühlen sich sicher an. Die An- und Abmeldung über die App. war völlig problemlos. So sieht Perfektion im Camping aus! After being completely re-done this campsite is a perfect example of how peaceful camping surrounded by nature can look like. The sanitary facilities have been completely re-newed and have loads of room, are bright and feel very safe. All campsites have been leveled and the roads have been ne-newed. All in all a perfect stay for the ferry next morning, would have loved to stay longer, yet we had to leave...

  Spotless and perfect campsite! In a great spot for the ferry to Calais, but also a short drive away from Folkestone (there’s also a bus stop right outside to get you around). Staff are so friendly and helpful. Toilet block is the nicest and cleanest we’ve ever come across. Kids playground is great and the site is nice for them to cycle around. Will always return to this site whenever we’re in this neck of the woods.

  We've spent a few too many nights at Havens this year and it was good to be back at a club site. This one definitely lives up to the standards. Spotless. Great facilities. Good to see lots of solar panels and a heat pump on the shower block. The showers are great, hot and plenty to choose, with hooks, bench and sloping floor so your clothes stay dry. Nice little park for the kids and a woodland area. Didn't notice it on the way in but the motorhome grey waste area and drinking water station is an excellent idea - completely flat and not blocking the through traffic. Not the prettiest site, but very useful for the ferries/Eurotunnel. Functional. Pitches were a tad small (I think this is due to us staying on a ferry pitch) but still bigger than aforementioned haven pitches! As others noted people are leaving through the night or very early, which can disturb sleep somewhat. Great comms from the team leading up to the stay with a pitch allocated ahead of our arrival. With the anpr system we didn't actually speak or see staff from driving on to leaving. Highly recommend.

  A nice and well maintained campsite. The staff are friendly and helpful. There's a supermarket opposite te campsite. This campsite is especially set up for people travelling by ferry or shuttle. They can leave any time they like and although there is a designated ferry area, there can be a little noise during the night. It's also a strange experience to see that at 8 am the campsite is almost empty, whereas at 8 pm most pitches are full. But if above-mentioned doesn't bother you it's an excellent starting point for exploring the area.
