One of the best caravan sites in the country, the New Forest Caravan and Motorhome Club Campsite combines the natural allure of the New Forest National Park with oodles of wartime history. Originally part of a WWII airfield, there are still remnants from the original runway, as well as a memorial to the New Forest Airfields just to the north of the park. A play area exists for younger visitors, making this site ideal for families with little ones. Cycle routes and walking routes also provide a pleasant way to view the local surroundings, with visits to the busy towns of Christchurch, Poole and Bournemouth offering plenty to do for those heading further afield.

- JHJean Harris-Evans5 days ago5.0Great campsite and location. This was our second visit and always impressed by the cleanliness and staff. This year there's a very welcome addition of a marquee/ pop up bar and food trailer. Lovely bar guy and great beer, the food looked great too although we didn't have any.

- RRRickJun 16, 20265.0For such a large site, the wardens really do an excellent job in keeping all areas in tip top condition. The afternoon cleaning is a great idea and should be adopted club wide. The facilities are top notch with plenty of hot water for washing up and showering. The on site catering was great and the little extras like hire bikes etc a very good idea. The location is stunning of course and I based there to visit Sammy Millers museum 3 miles away. All campsites should be this standard.
- AJAlex JonesJun 6, 20265.0Absolutely fantastic stay! The wardens here are cracking—they work incredibly hard to maintain the high standards and pristine appearance of what is a very busy Club site. The location is perfect, situated right in the heart of the New Forest. It makes for an ideal base, as it's not far from all the main New Forest attractions and just a short trip down to Avon Beach. The facilities were top-notch, with the toilet blocks kept spotlessly clean the entire time we were there. We also really enjoyed the rotating food vans during the week, which added some great variety to our evenings. The onsite bar was a brilliant bonus and a great place to relax and meet up with friends. Thoroughly enjoyed our time here and we will definitely be going back!

A spotless campsite - with some really nice onsite facilities... including a pop-up bar (with a quiz taking place when we stayed!) and also a chip shop van on site serving up delicious fish and chips. A nice, modern play area for the kids and of course all within a stone's throw of all the New Forest offers. A wonderful, peaceful break - made stress-free from the automated check in service, too. Absolutely recommended.

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.
How do I book an overseas site?

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.

Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.
