Martial Arts School
Premier Martial Arts Witham is locally, family-owned business. We specialise in character development and life skills for children and fitness and self-protection for adults. We believe that everyone has the right to be safe and healthy. Our kids programs start at 5 years old and we have students in their 60s! As the owner, we train our staff to understand that we are not just a business, we are a group of individuals who want to spend their time investing in the people of Witham. Our youth program has full a life lessons program that integrates community service, daily talks, and monthly topics ranging from confidence to social responsibility. We feel so blessed to have the opportunity to help build the future of Witham!

From day one, they’ve been incredibly supportive of my son’s development—not just in martial arts, but in his confidence and overall mindset. What really stands out is how encouraging they are with every child, regardless of their ability or experience level. They take the time to understand each individual and help them progress at their own pace, celebrating every achievement along the way. My son absolutely loves attending his classes, and it’s been amazing to see his confidence grow over the past year. I would highly recommend Premier Martial Arts to any parent looking for a positive and supportive activity for their child.

Chuck has such an incredible way with the children, and his fun presence instantly demands respect from the kids in the class. B has a new fun way of letting out all the energy he has whilst learning respect & discipline whilst getting fit and taking part in key training. The classes are fun, keep the kids engaged and definitely burn a lot of that energy and steam they need to let out! I couldn’t recommend Chuck & his team any more if I tried. An absolute 10/10 class. Thank you.

My son has come on leaps and bounds and loves his martial arts class. Mr Chuck is also very accommodating and you are able to choose different days each week. I have also had a great experience with parent support from the club when it comes to challenging behaviors with my child. Highly recommend.

No way! As a matter of fact, we are careful to teach our students to use common sense before self-defence. Kids are taught to make smart decisions when it comes to self defense from the first day of class. They will know when it is the right time to use what they have been taught.

Your child’s safety is our main concern. We use padded safety gear, abide by strict safety rules and regulation for instructors and students, use padded safety weapons and even have high-tech padded floors — all for the safety of our students.

Martial arts is great exercise for kids. Martial arts training, combined with a sensible diet, can transform a child’s physical and overall health. Kids that feel good about themselves are children that develop strong confidence and self esteem — which they can carry over in all aspects of life in the future.
I know my child will have fun, but they have quit other activities before. How can we keep them from quitting?
As long as a parent makes and keeps the commitment of making sure their child attends class twice per week, children will learn and excel in their training. Kids that train consistently will progress in martial arts and should have no problem reaching the life-changing goal of black belt.
Is my child too young for martial arts training?
At Premier Martial Arts, we are experts at teaching martial arts. We have programs specially designed for ages 5 to 7, 8 to 12, teens, and adults. Our instructors are trained to bring out the best in our students’ performance at any age.
My child has never been good at sports; can they do this?
Every child has what it takes to be good at martial arts, because in martial arts they are not competing or comparing themselves with anyone. Martial arts are more than just punching and kicking. Character development training is just as important as punching and kicking. Once we develop a child’s confidence, they can achieve anything they set their mind to.
