  I walked past this place for months before plucking up the courage to open the door and giving it a try. UBX is a great balance between gym membership and personal training, and the boxing theme ensures you'll build fitness, confidence and not fall into lazy habits. Each session has a small group of attendees who cycle through stations, and one coach who will move round the group, giving advice where needed and then engaging in mitt/pad work. It's the benefits of having a personal trainer every visit, but without breaking the bank. The coaches are very knowledgeable and work hard to get to know you, teach technique from the basics up and encourage you to push yourself. They will factor in injuries and limitations, and will help you to build your skill and confidence. The InBody scanner helps you to see gains where a simple home scale won't, and the app lets you continue the fitness work if you can't make the gym. I'm a 48 year old overweight man. Now getting fitter and wishing I'd signed up sooner.

  This is my 2nd month at ubx and it’s safe to say iv got my zest back for training.. the coaches all bring different qualities that enhance your training. Even with my current injuries they use their knowledge to help me adapt my training and techniques to achieve an optimal workout. Overall I have fun, a good work and i am Learning new skills.
