A green and spacious Club campsite which is just a short walk from the historic market town of Totnes and ideally located to explore South Devon’s most popular attractions. Boat rides on the River Dart leave from opposite the site and sail down the estuary to the harbour town of Dartmouth where you can catch a steam train to Paignton, home of the renowned Paignton Zoo. The seaside resort of Torquay is also within easy reach along with a wide choice of fantastic beaches while nearby Dartmoor National Park is a haven for walkers and cyclists.

- HMHeidi Martin2 days ago4.0Great campsite in a very convenient yet quiet position in town. It's beautifully landscaped and spotlessly clean. The wardens clearly work very hard to maintain it and keep it running like clockwork, which we really appreciated. We did receive a couple of anxious phone calls from a warden prior to our arrival, checking where we were, which we weren't quite sure were necessary – we arrived prior to the time we had stated at the point of booking, which was well within the site's arrival window anyway. However, we were made to feel very welcome when we did arrive - the warden was very helpful and we were given lots of useful information about things to do in Totnes. Couple of the usual CAMC bugbears: the facilities block was shut for 1.5hrs every morning between 10.30 and 12 (!) and the campsite wifi was poor, the free version being restricted to four hours and kept cutting out. For £50-£55 per night excluding electricity, it's particularly annoying, and we think that both these issues should be addressed across the Club's portfolio to bring its offering more up to date and in line with what you might expect in return for this level of pricing. Apart from these niggles though, the site felt super safe and clean and its location is super. We will definitely be back.

- LPLoveday PowellJul 28, 20265.0Fabulous campsite right in the heart of Totnes. Pitches (gravel) are all fully serviced. The boat to Dartmouth starts from just outside the campsite where there is a lovely riverside cafe.
- MCmark chanterJun 8, 20264.0Neg points, pitches are small and close together. The toilet block is not big enough even for the small site. It’s expensive at £51 plus electric. Positive points. Staff friendly and helpful, plus the chap has got a sense of humour. Everything is kept clean. The pay as you go for electric I like, it only cost us £2 a night. The assessable toilet shower is fantastic. I have no physical difficulties but due to being autistic and suffer from anxiety I used the shower and it’s very rare I feel comfortable using the sites showers but I did here. I did say it’s expensive, but for me to be able to use the facilities it is better than paying for a site £10 cheaper. Location is fantastic even though it’s only 30 mins from home.

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.

Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.
