Set on a gently sloping meadow near the pretty village of Stokenham and less than a mile from a string of excellent beaches along the South Devon coast. The nearest beach to the Club campsite offers excellent sea fishing while there is also a lovely beachfront pub and café. Nearby Slapton Ley National Nature Reserve is the largest natural freshwater lake in the south west and is a popular spot for bird enthusiasts and nature lovers. The historic town of Kingsbridge is only six miles away while slightly further afield are the picturesque coastal towns of Dartmouth and Salcombe.

- HMHeidi Martin2 days ago5.0Another warm welcome at this lovely sheltered and well-run site which we booked and arrived at last minute. The facilities are possibly due for a refurb, but still very clean and functional. The little shop at reception is a nice touch too. The wardens are all friendly and the range of pitches is super. We love this area and had a great walk to Torcross and Beesands as well as squeezing in a couple of trips to the Stokesley Farm Shop beer festival. We always try to pitch away from the road here, as we sleep in the pop top of our camper van, but plenty of other vans had chosen to pitch there so it's probably just personal choice. Looking forward to coming back again soon. One thing I should mention is the lack of phone. data signal, or wifi available at our pitch (not sure about the rest of the site). Come on CAMC - it's 2026 now - for the price, internet should be available throughout the site.
- DTDave T4 days ago4.0With road north out of Torcross closed (and not sure when it will be sorted) you are currently stuck at the end of a dead end road to Kingsbridge. But very good local pubs and farm shop, its not such a bad place to be. Only wish there was a dog run on the site, we ended up driving down to the beach to give them a run every morning.

The site is the perfect location with walks out both end. The beach is 10 mins walk down the hill and there is an amazing farm shop less than 10 mins walk away. Great stay! Thank you

Shower block is a bit dated, but very clean and everything works...no push button showers which is a bonus. Pubs and walks/cycling nearby...great little farm shop just around the corner. Shop on site small but sells loads of stuff too. Small play area for children, where you can also pitch your MH/caravan to keep an eye on little ones. Definitely recommend..😎

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.
How do I book an overseas site?

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.
Can I book different pitch types throughout a stay?

Trailer tents and folding campers are considered the equivalent to a caravan, rather than a tent so they are therefore accepted on Club campsites that wouldn�t normally permit conventional tents. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are self-build conversions welcome?

Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.
