Set in a beautiful country park on the outskirts of Peterborough in East Anglia this Club campsite is ideal for families and boasts a new playground. Visitors can take advantage of the many activities in the country park including a miniature steam train, fishing lake, birdwatching hides, a watersports centre offering sailing and windsurfing, two golf courses, a café and bar, cycle hire centre and a network of excellent cycle and walking trails. You can also catch a heritage steam train on the Nene Valley Railway from the station next to the site while in Peterborough there is a wide range of attractions for all the family such as ice and rollerskating, a swimming pool, bowling alley and cinema plus a huge shopping complex.

Good choice of pitches, both hard-standing and grass split across two sides of the main road into the country park. Semi-circular layouts with trees all round and lots of bunnies!! Large kids play area, which is always popular, but other areas are quieter if you prefer something a bit more peaceful. Staffed reception for busy periods and card barriers for security. Take-away food vans frequent during the week. All in, a lovely site with lots of walking opportunities direct from the site. But can get very busy during peak season.

Gents 10 showers & only 5 toilets for a site that size REALLY . 2 Don't see any HSM or assistant walking round talking to customers, seeing if everything OK, some people don't like to complain unless asked ??. 3Im a legionela examiner and the sink taps or TMV wants turning up temperature is 9° lower than minimum temp ZKEEP YOUR EYE ON THAT before it's too late ! 4 Gents had a lick clean and it showed (stinks) from trap & all waste outlets .

The facilities were spotlessly clean, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful throughout our stay. What we loved most was the sense of peace and being so close to nature, yet also having easy access to lovely pubs and cafes nearby for a bit of a treat. A big thank you for letting us have a late check-out – it was the perfect way to soak up a bit more of sunshine before heading home. We'll definitely be back!

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.

Are self-build conversions welcome?
Yes, roof top tents are welcome at our Club campsites. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.
