Set in a beautiful country park on the outskirts of Peterborough in East Anglia this Club campsite is ideal for families and boasts a new playground. Visitors can take advantage of the many activities in the country park including a miniature steam train, fishing lake, birdwatching hides, a watersports centre offering sailing and windsurfing, two golf courses, a café and bar, cycle hire centre and a network of excellent cycle and walking trails. You can also catch a heritage steam train on the Nene Valley Railway from the station next to the site while in Peterborough there is a wide range of attractions for all the family such as ice and rollerskating, a swimming pool, bowling alley and cinema plus a huge shopping complex.

- JSJamie SmithAug 24, 20261.0Dirty, horrible campsite. Worst campsite I’ve ever visited part of the caravan club but also available to book on pitchup which explains everything. The toilets are filthy dirty with rubbish all over the place. 272 pitches and only 10 dirty showers to use. The toilets absolutely stink even after ‘cleaning’. You are packed in like sardines. There’s cars speeding round site all day long. Hooded teenagers flying round the site on mountain bikes. Disorganised after 1 night a warden came up to my pitch saying I should have left by now? Although I had another 2 nights booked. People shouting and screaming all the way until midnight. Young children left unsupervised in the park to the point a little girl was asking for help to get up the ladder to go down the slide.. no adult in sight. This site is just rough avoid

Great location with walks, cycle tracks and the miniature railway and steam railway both within walking distance. Good facilities and always clean and maintained.
- HHHannahJul 24, 20263.0The campsite is ok, a mixture of friendly staff and some that are quite rude. It was in the 6 week holidays we went and there was a lot of children running around the caravan which in turn set our dogs off but there is nothing that the site could have done about that. The shower in the family room didn’t work which was frustrating and the dog park is quite small. The toilets were blocked. We would come again and give it another go but perhaps as a stop off rather than staying for a week. The location is amazing for the ferry meadows park and the steam train and to get anywhere in Peterborough.

Can non-members book campsites online?
Yes, non-members can book selected Club campsites online. Non-members are required to pay an additional supplement of �15 per night to stay upon arrival at site. Tent pitches can also be booked online, there is no non-member supplement to be paid when booking a tent pitch.
Does the Club own any overseas sites?
We work closely with over 310 campsites which are regularly visited and inspected by Club staff. We don't own or directly manage any overseas sites.
How do I book an overseas site?

Do I need a different driving licence for driving a motorhome or towing a caravan?
If you passed your test before 1st January 1997, you are able to drive any combination of car and caravan, or any motorhome with a weight of up to 7500kg (or 8250kg with a trailer). If your licence starts after 1st January 1997 then you can drive a car and caravan with a combined maximum weight of 3500kg (or 4250kg to include a small trailer weighing no more than 750kg). You can also drive a motorhome with a weight of up to 3500kg (with a small trailer of up to 750kg, or a heavier trailer if the combined maximum weight is no more than 3500kg). For all drivers aged 70 and over, the motorhome weight allowance is reduced to 3500kg maximum weight, unless a medical report is supplied.

How do I access the free Wi-Fi?
When you arrive at the campsite, you will be able to access FREE Wi-Fi (for basic browsing and emails only) after registering on the portal. The portal is only available when you are located in the hotspot area on a Club campsite offering Wi-Fi.
Where on the site will the hotspot be located?
The wireless hotspot will be located close to reception. Sharing a limited bandwidth with others may also vary the speed of service with some sites being a distance from the exchange. Our service is suitable for basic web surfing and emails but not updates or streaming e.g. BBC iPlayer and YouTube.
Do I have to be a member to stay on a UK campsite?
Non-members are welcome to book and stay at many of the Club campsites, however there are some that are member-exclusive. This information is available on each individual campsite webpage. Members may bring friends or family too, as long as they stay for the same duration.
How long can you stay on a Club Campsite?
Yes, however, if you have multiple pitch types booked within the duration of your stay, it may not be possible for you to remain on the same pitch for your entire stay. During busy periods you will potentially need to move to the pitch(es) you originally booked.
Can I stay on Club campsites with a tent?
It�s likely that since the Directory was printed, the campsite has withdrawn from our network and so will not appear online. If you feel that there is still an error, please phone us on 01342 327 490.
Can I book different pitch types throughout a stay?

Trailer tents and folding campers are considered the equivalent to a caravan, rather than a tent so they are therefore accepted on Club campsites that wouldn�t normally permit conventional tents. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are self-build conversions welcome?
Yes, roof top tents are welcome at our Club campsites. Search for our outfit types page for a comprehensive list of outfit types we welcome.
Are trailer tents and folding campers welcome?
Boats aren�t designed to be used for accommodation on land and so, unfortunately, we don�t accept them on our campsites. The only exception to this is Wilderness Boats, which are small canal boats that are purposely designed for dual use on the land and in the water. Are roof top tents welcome?
New members can have online access as little as one hour after joining online. Your email confirmation containing your membership number usually arrives within 48 hours of joining online.
Are boats on trailers welcome?
You can include a joint member to your membership free of charge. Additional family members can be added for �10 each. Joint and family members must live at the same address as the lead member and be over 18 years old.
If I become a member online, how quickly will I be able to book UK Club campsites?
If you are the full member you can amend your membership details under My Profile. You can also amend your membership details, including amending joint or family members, by using Webchat or phoning our membership services line.
