We have just returned from our third time here, we love it, lovely walks, good cycling routes and very friendly helpful staff. Adjacent to Nene Park which is so pretty, where we enjoyed foodie Friday with a good variety of eateries and accompanying music. There is a little train that takes you around the park. We stayed on the North Side next to the well equipped play park which our Grandchildren loved. The pitches on this side are a good size with lots of green areas around. The only thing we didn’t like was the intense heat, but that’s not their fault, we’re just British, always complaining about the weather lol.

Just returned from our second visit to Ferry Meadows CAMC site. Used primarily for us as a half-way point on the way to the Channel Tunnel but it has become one of our favourite CAMC sites and is definitely worth a specific visit there. Lovely large site (spread over two sections), well organised and friendly/helpful staff. We went for a serviced pitch which was large, tidy and level. Excellent and immaculate facilities block as expected and regular food vans through the week (although on our recent visit the food van did not arrive as planned). The location is excellent too, very close to Ferry Meadows country park, perfect for walks, cycling and water sports. The Nene Valley Railway is within a couple of minutes walk. There are also two pubs and a Tesco within 10-15 minute walks. The Blind Tiger Taproom is particularly worth a visit. We're looking forward to our next (and hopefully longer) visit.

This is up there as one of our favourite CAMC sites. We really like the serviced pitches for their location / layout. The wardens are all really helpful. The facilities are always so clean. Great location for Nene Park - cycling / walking - and we were surprised Peterborough is within easy cycling distance too. Plenty of places locally to eat / drink- we like the Blind Tiger Taproom.

I have made a booking at this campsite. I have paid online. I had landed to the gate. It was just me and my five months old baby. The site manager accused me in entry. I think she was. A racist against kids. She screamed in my five months old baby face my baby had to be brought to the hospital to calm him down. my five months old little boy is still traumatised over the event she was the site manager. She was a lady in her 30s. I think caravan and motorhome club should fire her. It was my baby’s first holiday and I said please do not refuse my baby. He’s holiday she said I do not care about you or your five months old baby and get out of my camping. And she was screaming in my baby’s face. I would advise anybody coming to this campsite with small kids. Please do not go here. Because my baby is still traumatised. If I bring him outside, he is nervous. He did not sleep with 2 nights over this all he is doing is crying. All day and all night. I am from Ireland and when I get home to Ireland, I am going to get my lawyer involved in this. I had advised the caravan and motorhome club about the ladies behaviour and I am seeking justice for my baby I think the caravan and motorhome club should fire her and she should lose her job hope this brings everybody coming to the campsite with small children a good idea what the could be in for I don’t think she should have a job in environment where small children is coming for a holiday thanks
