If you are collecting parcels from this location make sure that you go into the business and register your vehicle. Despite their being ABSOLUTELY NO SIGNAGE anywhere in the car park to say you are obliged to do this they will still slap a parking fine on you. When I returned from my vehicle after using their lockers to collect orders I felt the onset of a panic attack coming on and had to wait in my vehicle for this to pass. I was parked on the double yellow lines on the way out of the car park (not even occupying a space). I had to sit and wait for 2 hours before I felt safe to drive. I did not leave my vehicle (as their cameras no doubt show) so I wasn't abusing the car park in order to use any other nearby businesses. Since that date I have then been working away from Bristol for the last 3 months and when I returned I found several letters from the parking management company asking for increasing amounts of money from me and no chance to appeal because of the time elapsed. I spoke to the car parking company who said if I spoke to the management they were sure that they'd authorise the parking fine being waved. Today I went in and spoke to a really lovely guy on the front desk (Liam) who also believed that management wouldn't have any problem, given the circumstances, waving the fine. He said it might take a couple of weeks for it to come off the system so I left my contact details and asked if I could be informed when management have confirmed this. Within the hour I got a call from a rude, accusatory manager who (despite saying she also suffers with panic attacks) said I should have gone into the building after the episode and registered my vehicle to avoid the fine. This is absolutely outrageous treatment. It only says on the signage that bingo customers need to do this (I was not a bingo customer) and no instructions anywhere, near the lockers or otherwise, tell you that if using the site to collect parcels you should register your vehicle. What's absolutely mad is that if they would have accepted the reason for my prolonged stay then, then why is it suddenly unacceptable now that some time has elapsed. I calmly told the mananger that their lack of compassion was duly noted and ended the call. Logical conclusion is never get your parcels sent to this site because essentially it's a money spinner for them to trap people with £100s of parking fines. Outrageous, upsetting and another reason in this world to have a total utter lack of faith in humanity. As a representative of this brand I can see that they're actually quite nasty.
