Went here last night 24/01/26. Played bingo which was fine. Went into the slot area. Who thought that the karaoke style bingo was a good idea? There was a member of staff bellowing down a microphone shouting and singing badly and totally out of tune for 2 torturous hours. If you have a mic you really do not need to shout. I honestly do not care if this sounds rude or offensive because the singing and shouting down a mic was atrocious and way too loud. It was offensive to our ears and felt embarrassed for her.
We just wanted a quiet chill and to zone out, no chance of that. If we wanted a night club or karaoke experience then would go to a club. Having used Buzz for years this was the worst experience ever. Total and awful noise overload. When I raised this with a member of the team she said it was a new thing on a Saturday. Then please employ a singer instead of making everyone's ears bleed. This was to entertain around 40 people that quickly reduced to around 10. By the way there was around 60 or 70 people in the slot area that quickly reduced to around 10 and a lot were complaining generally to each other about the noise. You couldn't hear the slots being played. All you could hear was a totally deluded member of staff believing she could sing! am still confused what it was meant to achieve. I fully expect Buzz to leave a snarky comment below. I honestly do not care. It was an awful experience that left me with a banging headache. Never again Buzz, will not be returning. It felt like torture. Spending money and being tortured by noise is not fun.
