- KDKrunal Das5 days ago5.0Bought 6 months of lessons (15 lessons) in June/July. Coach was Nathan. I highly recommend going this route as a beginner who has never golfed. I broke 100 on 01/01/2026! 7 months after starting. Also got fitted for a set here. For any new golfer thinking about lessons, stop thinking and just do. Worth the time and money.

I booked a swing evaluation/lesson on a whim after having a horrible round. I figured it was worth a shot. I'm so glad I did. I was paired with Coach Mott. He showed me a basic problem to start with on the program they use. It breaks down your swing in ways I didnt know possible. I changed this one little thing and its been INCREDIBLE. Normally I struggle to stay in the upper 90s. My last two rounds since my lesson. 94 and 91. Im going to break into the 80s next time out. Go see Coach Mott. You will NOT regret it.
- JPJon PurselleOct 14, 20253.0Not a very good club fitting. I went in thinking it would be a real fitting but it’s nothing you can’t do on your own at the pga store for free. The only shaft options are what you can order or even pick up off the shelf elsewhere. Just a heads up that this is not the place to go for a real club fitting at all. I can’t speak about the other services, but I’m sure they do a great job with lessons and the facility is nice enough. The only reason they got any stars at all from my experience was the staff was very friendly. I would not recommend getting fitted for clubs there. I completely wasted $95.

David was been patient with me and has done a great job of building on things lesson after lesson. I use the practice bays quite often as well. Looking forward to the next six months of improvement.

The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
