  I flew in to Atlanta from Germany and made my way to the Sandy Springs REI. I needed to buy stove fuel and swap my packs for a slightly bigger one prior to my AT through hike. The staff was super helpful and provided first rate service! Great atmosphere and team at this REI!!!!

  My husband has a difficult time finding shoes that are comfortable for his particular foot shape and plantar fasciitis. We spent well over 90 minutes trying on numerous different shoes. Our team member STARR was unbelievably awesome and patient!! She had several people to help and she gave each one her complete attention and juggled all the requests like a true pro! After my husband tried on several pairs and hadn't found anything that worked, Starr took the times to measure his feet and watch how he walked, then made suggestions for shoes that we hadn't even considered. We ended up buying one of her suggestions. Starr was wonderful!
