This is the best place to get your running or hiking shoes. The REI membership allows you to wear them and bring them back if you are not 100% satisfied. I have many pairs of shoes barely worn that I cannot take back to other places.
I will only buy from REI now so I don't waste my money on expensive shoes that hurt my feet or underperform. Bo at the Perimeter location was super helpful and patient with me as I tried on several pair to get the right fit. Thanks REI! Membership has its rewards!

Weird vibes, and microagressions. Ive never been greeted nor asked if i needed help. Instead i've had to track someone down for help. Went in to have one cleat tighten on the cycle shoes that i purchased at this store this past summer. The salesperson didnt believe me and asked me many unnessary questions. Just could have told me that he couldn't do it. All this over ONE cleat that took him less than 2 min to tighten! They are rude and dismissive and highly ignorant of anyone who doesn't fit their narrow demographic. I won't be back.

I have so many good customer service stories at this store. Recently I returned a defective camping item bought during a manufacturer's sale. The sale ended, but they gave me a matching discount on a different item.
