I wish I had asked for his name because he truly provided great customer service. However, when I went to check out, it was a little past 8:00 p.m., and I wanted to order two additional pairs of pants in different colors that were only available online. I spoke with a lady named Carly at the register and mentioned that I wanted to place an order. She looked at her coworker in a way that made me feel uncomfortable, as if they were annoyed or just ready to leave. Both of them exchanged looks that felt dismissive, and it honestly made me feel unwelcome. I also run my own business, and I always make sure my customers feel appreciated no matter what time it is. Small gestures and attitude matter. REI is known for excellent customer service, and I hope management reminds their staff that maintaining a positive attitude is just as important as closing on time
