I had an extremely disappointing experience at Lucky Strike in Atlantic Station. I arrived before 9 PM and was denied entry by Security Guard Thompson and the manager on duty because I didn’t have my wallet with my ID on me at that moment. I explained the situation and even offered a tip before leaving, simply so I wouldn’t have to drive an hour back home and return. Instead of working with me in good faith, I was still turned away. I ended up driving an hour round-trip to get my wallet, only to be denied again when I returned—this time because I had offered the tip earlier, which they suddenly claimed was “an issue.” It felt personal and retaliatory, and not at all like professional customer service. After wasting over two hours of driving, dealing with inconsistent explanations, and interacting with staff who seemed more interested in exerting authority than actually helping guests, I can confidently say this was one of the most frustrating experiences I’ve had at any entertainment venue. Lucky Strike needs better training, clearer policies, and staff who understand how to treat customers with respect. I will not be returning, and I wouldn’t recommend this location to anyone seeking a smooth or welcoming night out.

I recently had an extremely disappointing experience at Lucky Strike in Atlantic Station. My friend and I went out for a fun night, but the security guard at the entrance completely ruined the experience. He refused to let my friend in because he didn’t have a physical copy of his ID, even though he had a digital version on his phone. The guard insisted that only physical IDs were accepted. My friend ended up driving an hour all the way back home just to get his physical ID. When he returned and got back in line, we watched the same security guard accept a girl’s ID on her phone — the exact thing he told us was not allowed. When my friend asked why the rules suddenly changed, the guard claimed my friend’s ID “didn’t look real.” At that point, it was obvious the situation had nothing to do with rules and everything to do with inconsistency and poor treatment. This experience was frustrating, unfair, and a complete waste of time. If Lucky Strike is going to enforce rules, they should apply them consistently to everyone — not selectively. Until they address their security staff’s behavior and professionalism, I can’t recommend this location to anyone.

I am writing to file a formal complaint regarding the conduct of an employee identified as *Thompson* and the management team at Lucky Strike Atlantic Station on **November 16, 2025, at approximately 10:00 PM**. During our visit, my husband was denied entry despite providing valid identification on his phone. This was especially concerning because the guest directly in front of us—a young woman—was allowed to enter after presenting her ID **in the exact same format** (digital/phone display). The inconsistency in enforcing this policy raises serious concerns about selective treatment. From our experience, it appeared that the policy was applied differently based on race. My husband complied with the same process as the previous guest, yet was denied entry without a valid explanation. This inconsistency, combined with the dismissive attitude displayed by Thompson, left us feeling disrespected and singled out. We expect all guests to be treated equally and with professionalism. The behavior we encountered was unacceptable, and we are requesting the following: 1. A review of this incident, including the actions of Thompson and the supervising manager present at the time. 2. Clear clarification of your ID policy and the steps taken to ensure it is applied consistently for all guests. 3. Confirmation of any corrective actions or training implemented to prevent future discriminatory treatment. We visit Atlantic Station often and expect businesses in the area to uphold standards of fairness and respect. I look forward to your timely response and resolution.

Very poor customer service. The lady at the desk was on the phone and couldn’t establish the right price. After a game, I went back to the front desk to figure out what’s going on and now she’s going back on her word. She was on the phone the entire time.
