- MTM TOct 27, 20253.0Good if you shoot in the 90’s-100’s. Better to look elsewhere if you are trying to get into the lower single digits. I had 10 lessons. My teacher did not know or could not teach how to remove the early release (casting) of the club and chicken wing follow through. He said “it takes a long time”. There’s a coach on YouTube named Rick Smith that does a great job in a 20 minute lesson.

Their service and technology is great but I have to personally give a shout out to Chris who goes above and beyond. I had settled that I would never break 100 in a golf round and Chris managed to help me make my swing more consistent to where I’m actually confident on the course with my swing and that I CAN score better. He went through multiple club fittings and found clubs that I not only I liked but that were right for me. They fit how I liked to swing, and how I wanted to strike the ball. He got to know me and my golf game (good and bad haha!) and has continually helped me get more consistent and become a better golfer. Golftec talks about reducing strokes but come see Chris and the GolfTec team not only if you want to knock strokes off your score but also if you truly want to become a better golfer!! Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
