- AAAnonymousJan 4, 20261.0Really disappointed in the customer service at this store location. I submitted a trade in online and brought my gear into the store for trade in. However, the employee at this store refused to help me, the reason being it is Sunday night and the process is complicated. I explained that I’m willing to wait till they are not busy, but the employee started lecturing me about the reason why they can’t help me, almost as if a customer asking for help is unreasonable. It was an extremely embarrassing experience. I had driven 2 hours round trip to get to the store, it was a complete waste of time. I’ll no longer be shopping at this store.

Hands down one of the most condescending, rudest phone calls I’ve ever had to deal with on an issue that was not of my causing. Being a member for the last few years and the way this stores employees have treated others I’ll just stick to online purchases if I even make any at all. The reality the store will do nothing about this review. The employee will not be counciled, the manager will not reach out to get a further understanding of the issue. They don’t care. Because you’ll still come in and spend your money whether my review is here or not. Maybe though if enough people post about their negative interactions with this store enough people will stop going in and it can initiate a change.

I then bought an extra since they taught me a few things on how to make it last better. Awesome staff, love this store and the people that work here. Thanks for your help REI Staff, y’all are awesome!
