Honestly, I was nervous about staying here after some of the reviews I’d read but was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked it. I’ve stayed in places where there are permanent residents before (when I was younger) and it’s usually a bunch of bitter old mean people. This was definitely not the case. Everybody we met was so nice to the office staff right down to the neighbor who offered to pull in his awning to make it easier for us to get in our spot. The campground is clean and well maintained. The laundry facilities are excellent. Pool area is nice.
My only negative thoughts are that yes the campsites are small and tight, but I didn’t mind. Our site unfortunately had acorns falling night and day which was annoying and you do get some road noise since it’s on a busy road but we use a fan to help with that.
It’s in a great location to visit all the Florida springs which is what I was doing. If you’re thinking about booking go ahead you won’t regret.

Silver Springs RV Park is a friendly park with affordable monthly rates (electricity is extra). They have a lot a lot of fun activities (see pic) and everyone was very welcoming. The facilities and pool are very clean. We enjoyed staying in the area. Silver Springs State Park is across the street. They have a glass bottom boat tours, kayak rentals, and hiking trails. We saw manatee and alligators there, but they also have monkeys. Baseline Trailhead Park is close and they have a paved 5K trail for walking and biking. Three Sisters Springs and Blue Springs State Park are great day trips to see the manatee. On a cold day in February we saw 800 manatee and lots of fish at Blue Springs, but arrive early as the parking lots fill up fast. We drove to the dog beach in Ormond Beach and stopped at the Barberville Yard Art Emporium which is not to be missed. Cape Canaveral is 1.5 hours away, and we saw a rocket launch. We also enjoyed the antique markets and Market of Marion flea market in Belleview. Overall, this is a nice park in a location within driving distance to each coast that we would happily stay at again.

We stayed at Silver Springs RV park for 6 days. Quiet and clean park. 55+ community with friendly long term residents. Roads are tight so they helped guide me to my site. Larry and Linda in the office were very helpful and friendly.
Tip - ask to stay away from main road (US 40) and they take Good Sam discount.

Friendly staff and very accommodating! Lots of activities in most evenings. Why the 2 stars? My DP was too big to be there. We had to leave for a medical reason at home, so my wife and I were concerned about getting out the next morning. We felt backing out was our best option, then going the wrong way on a one way “street.” Luckily, the neighbor left so we were able to pull out. We drove around the campground 3 times in the Jeep looking for the least unobstructed way out. Then I started our DP to pull out and I had to stop and my wife had to move a flower pot and a lounge chair so I could make a turn, I had to back up and forward several times to get out. If you have a 40 foot rig, I would not attempt staying there. Lesson learned, when a campground asks for the width of your rig, you shouldn’t go there!

Silver Springs RV Park is located across the street (walking distance) from Sliver Springs State Park. The RV park is clean, friendly and the residence there are very friendly.
The bathrooms are clean with a fresh coat of paint. Everything we used was in proper working order. The RV pads have electric, water and its own sewage hook-up. They have a lot of pull through RV pads, even for Class B and C.
Larry and Staff are friendly and helpful. They were more than willing to answer any questions we had.
The only drawback was there wasn’t free Wi-Fi for the whole park. They did have 2 areas of free Wi-Fi and you can get access to Wi-Fi from a 3rd party for minimal dollars. We used our cell service and had no issues. The WI-Fi was a non-issue for us, but worth mentioning.
It is a big park with long-term, intermediate and short stay tenants. There are lots of big trees for shade and a nice pool. We enjoyed our stay and it was nice to leave the van and walk to the State Park and enjoy the manatees.
