I’ve been a GOLFTEC member for about 7 months now and I’m regular at the GOLFTEC in Maitland (Orlando), so it’s always cool to check out the other locations around FL when I can. Went in for a practice and was kindly greeted by one of the instructors Andres. Andres was very polite during my visit and it felt as if I was in my hometown GOLFTEC! Will be going to this location regularly whenever I’m back in Naples!

I never really had a clue about my swing or swing mechanics and had struggled with consistent rounds. My handicap was around 18-20 and never a round in the 70’s. I was so fed up with my game I actually quit for 5 years. I had read about Golftec on the web and found one at my local Golfsmith store. My goal for that first visit was only to video my swing, because I knew I could fix it myself. Turns out it was the best visit in terms of golf I ever had and I needed help to fix my swing. Ryan P became my coach and I like to say also my friend. He has changed my game in so many ways, I actually cannot wait to get my lesson and head out and try what he has taught me. I only play once a week. I now score in the low 80’s and had several rounds in the 70’s, and my handicap has been as low as 9. My distance is 20 to 30 yards longer and golf is fun again. Why do I need a Swing Evaluation
The Swing Evaluation gives both Coach and student a clear visual and numerical baseline for both indicating where improvement is necessary and measuring the improvement. We highly recommend the Swing Evaluation for every student, from beginner to competitive player. It allows us to understand your current swing and goals and helps determine the right lesson plan for you.
Are your lessons expensive?
Prices vary by the lesson plan, features included, and region, but they are highly competitive with teaching professionals in each area. However, each GOLFTEC Student will start with a Swing Evaluation which is $150.
Do you teach beginners?
We love teaching golfers who are just picking up the sport! Our coaches understand the unique needs of beginners and know how to make their sessions comfortable and enjoyable.
Can I take lessons at any location?
Absolutely! Your Coach will be able to help you find another Center and Coach. You can also use any GOLFTEC location when you are traveling.
Can I take lessons outdoors?
On-course instruction on specific shots and course management are a great complement to in-bay swing lessons and are offered at most locations.
Will you change my swing?
Changes to your swing may be necessary given your specific golfing problems and goals. We begin with your current swing and work on adjustments to make it more effective and productive.
Does GOLFTEC sell clubs?
Yes. We will order clubs based on your TECFIT club fitting or your specifications if you choose not to have a fitting. With our large buying power and relationships with leading manufacturers, we can sell custom clubs for the same price that you would pay for off-the-rack clubs at many retailers.
How is your club fitting different from others?
Our TECFIT club fitting system provides a precision, agnostic fitting experience. All GOLFTEC Certified Fitters use our advanced launch monitor technology to measure your unique launch conditions. While most other fitters stop there, we utilize our proprietary equipment database of thousands of club/shaft combinations to identify the perfect club configuration to optimize performance based on your swing. Clubs fit and built to your unique swing DNA will lead to greater consistency, distance, and confidence on the golf course.
