  We had a group of 8 players from out town play Sunday and while we enjoyed the layout, the course conditions were disappointing for the cost. The course was dry, tee boxes in bad shape, and areas of the course appeared unkept. Additionally, tee times were running about 20 minutes behind schedule.

  Went for lunch with the girls. Cocktails were great. Had the fried Brussel sprouts and they were seasoned perfectly. Fish and chips were the best I have ever had. So glad you I have found a new favorite spot.

  My dear Lakeland friends brought me to dinner at the club's restaurant Fri April 17, 2026. They have been members for years. Unfortunately, all of us were extremely disappointed. The music was much too loud. The service was noticeably slow. And the food was some of the worst food I've ever been served at a restaurant. The fish and chips were extremely overcooked and rubbery, essentially inedible. The blackened Maji was not blackened and the waitress just brought the blackening seasoning to our table in a bowl! The fried brussels sprouts lacked ALL the condiments described in the menu. The lamb meatloaf was very mushy and tasteless. We complained so vigorously that our entire dinning bill was complimentary, including a round of drinks and free dessert. I would have rated this place one star except that we were comp'ed one round of drinks and one free dessert.

  My boyfriend has lived in this community for over 15 years and we have been using the community pool for the past few years with no issues. His father pays for access to the pool and has a key fob that we used to access the pool. Today we had not even entered the water, and a woman came up to me with a clipboard telling us to sign in. Which we did and then she said since his father who owns the membership is not with us, we will be charged $10 a person to enjoy the pool. She did not ask us if we would like to leave, and she did not tell us how much we would be charged until after the fact. Multiple other people came to the pool and no one else was approached and they did not sign in. I do not understand this system. If you’re going to make this a policy, you need to actually enforce it to everyone who visits the pool. So now you cannot bring any guests without being charged $10 per person that’s crazy.
