  Mystic Dunes Resort & Golf Club was an incredible venue for our wedding. From the moment we first reached out, the team was communicative, kind, flexible, and incredibly personable. They worked closely with us to ensure our special day went off without a hitch, even when we had to adjust plans due to weather issues. The venue itself was spacious and open, providing great value for the cost. Rick, our day-of coordinator, was truly amazing - he went above and beyond to make sure my family and friends felt welcomed and taken care of. I would highly recommend Mystic Dunes to any couple looking for a beautiful, well-run wedding venue with a wonderful staff.

  Course wasn’t a $140+ condition track at all. Several greens had damage and finding “green grass” in the fairways was hit and miss. Also the tee boxes were sketchy at best. The course is tough but fair but the condition was really disappointing. I’ll play elsewhere next trip.

  The experience was pretty poor start to finish. We had several tee times for our group and the starter was incredibly rude. The course could be a nice track with a few gimmicky holes and a tough and fair test but the conditioning was horrible and it was obvious ownership has not invested in the course in the appropriate spots or at all. The turf was sparse in several places and the greens had several large areas which were under repair. The borders of the bunkers were poorly defined and not maintained making for impossible lies and conditions. There were several areas within 5 feet of the green that had sparse grass and potholes of sand which you couldn’t put or put a wedge on. Like hitting off of concrete. I am used to the tight lies in Florida but these weren’t that. Waste bunkers were horribly maintained along with the normal bunkers. The green complexes were challenging but in poor condition. There is really nothing redeeming about this golf course’s condition. Will not go back.

  The course shows much improvement from when I played last year. Greens are in good condition and fast! Fairway lies are tight and the rough grasses, though dormant, are quite playable. The signature Par 3 11th hole has newly re-sodded tee decks and rejuvenated water features to complement the challenging tee shot over water. Mystic Dunes continues to be my favorite course in the Orlando/Kissimmee area, requiring thoughtful approach shots into tricky greens. Staff are friendly, courteous and always accommodating.

  No fun at all. Course was not in very good shape. Greens we're not in very good shape at all! Accuracy required for this course is held by very few people. Having to hit fairways that are diagonal over around and through trouble is ridiculous on some holes. Most greens have 4-6 distinct areas and if you're on the wrong one good luck. Some greens have well over 10 feet elevation changes with several distinct levels and distinct areas on the same level. It's no fun at all fixing a ball mark on a green 60 feet away from where your ball comes to rest or landing just a few feet from a pin only to have a lengthy chip for your next shot. I'd say you'd have to be under a 5 handicap to have a prayer at any enjoyment on this course at all! I've been playing golf for over 50 years all over this country and the world for that matter and this was probably one of the top 5 worst experiences I've had on a golf course. Only perfect shots are rewarded! Slight misses are penalized off the tee, on approach and putting. I was actually angry after the first few holes and it just never let up! I ended up shooting 97 on this course and I didn't hit the ball badly at all! I followed it up with 82 the next day on a different course in the Orlando area if that gives you any sense of this course's difficulty. You can have this one! I won't be back!
