    Nice track. It was in pretty good shape when we played in November. We had a good time but they can get rid of the restaurant. It was very slow and the food was sub-par. We expected better from a resort clubhouse restaurant.

    A great layout keeps this track above 3 stars! Many of the greens have terrible patches! Some bunkers could use sand.

    Wow, this Gary Koch designed layout has been fully restored. Great work by Troon Golf elevating the golfing conditions and overall esthetic of this unique layout. New golf carts with GPS, all greens in great condition, and after a hard spring the first four fairways have finally grown in after sprigging two years ago. They are not done, expanding some tee boxes to offer new approach angles for the par threes. Overall, it’s a great experience.

    My group of eight had just played three days at the Reunion Resort courses (Nicklaus, Palmer and Watson), so we came in with high expectations. Unfortunately, Mystic Dunes @ $120 was not as good as the muni course we play. The greens are a joke. Unplayable undulations and tiers and many were in poor condition. And the speed varied from green to green. There were waste bunkers that are unplayable as they have been plowed as if they were getting ready to plant something. Balls would land and just disappear. Normally waste bunkers are crushed shells so you can actually play out of them. On a positive note, the facilities are very nice and the staff was very courteous and helpful.

    The layout of the course is great. The clubhouse and restaurant were both nice. Tee boxes and fairways were very good. My issue is the price ($120-October) for out-of-state residents, compared to similar courses in the area. I know they are putting money into the course to get it back to where it once was, but the greens were really disappointing as they has lots of fertilizer and bare spots. I think to get more foot traffic they need to lower the price until greens improve. My group played 5 different courses in the price range and this one was towards the bottom.
