They’ve already asked me to get a membership twice and I kept saying no and the lady at the cash register was acting like she needed to hold me at gunpoint and forcing me to try and get a stupid membership on a place that I’ve never stepped foot in once and it was my only time I was ever gonna step foot in ever again. then the lady at the cash register telling me that I’m definitely gonna need the membership because the shoes that I’m about to purchase are horrible shoes and I’m definitely gonna wanna return them because they suck. even though another lady was helping me out and was telling me that I should get these shoes. I almost walked out of that store with no membership and no freaking shoes! never will return!

Had another customer step in between me and sales person to ask for help and the salesperson left to go help her - never came back. My husband tried to get the attention of another salesperson who was straightening shoes and he just ignored us. Been an REI member for 5 years but I won’t be back to this store.
