I sent them for 1 week a few years ago cuz I needed someone to watch them that week over the summer and ever since they beg to go back every year. Last year my oldest was a teen leader and I absolutely love that they give the older kids the opportunity to develop those skills, and it even counts toward their community service for high school. All of that aside, my favorite part is that they aren't sitting at home on the couch staring at a screen all summer while I'm at work. They're outside getting fresh air, sunshine and exercise. I wish I could do the same!
