We were recently at this location while on vacation from the Midwest and we had a great time here. Both Julie and Matt were very helpful with my helmet/goggles purchase. There were none in stock so they helped me buy the display one at a discount. Both of them genuinely wanted to help out and were so kind. Additionally, this place just rocks. There is so much selection and the prices all seemed reasonable. Thanks for a great shopping experience!!

We had such a great experience at Epic
Mountain Gear in Littleton. Julie at the front desk and Elisa, who helped us with the junior program, were both incredibly kind, patient, and amazing with our kids. They truly went above and beyond to make the experience easy and positive for our whole family.
Elisa took the time to explain everything clearly and made sure the kids were comfortable and excited, not overwhelmed. Julie was equally welcoming and helpful from the moment we walked in. You can tell they genuinely care.
If you live locally and have kids, the junior program is seriously incredible — such a smart, affordable way to get kids properly outfitted with quality gear without the stress.
We’ll absolutely be back and can’t recommend this shop enough.

Mollie is a badass. She’s really good at what she does-eyeballed my son’s foot, recognized where he has likely been experiencing pain points, and recommended a boot for feet like his. Result: we quit shopping around, spent our money at Epic, and my son swears he’s never had a better ski boot.

Went in for a boot fitting and was initially helped by Eric. He was working the boots alone and had an incredible one-man performance helping everyone there. Steven from the shop and Johnny came out as well to help tweak the boots to ensure they fit well for the season. Great service, great conversations, and I walked away with a great pair of boots!

Went in this store to see if they had any snow pants I liked. It was around 11:30 am. My daughter and I were greeted kindly as we came in the door. I noticed how cute the dressing rooms were and the store has a nice layout.
However, things took a turn quickly. My daughter and I had just walked over from Petco where she made a return (using a reusable bag since we take our own shopping bags with us almost everywhere we go these days). My daughter had the reusable bag and her tote purse with her. She put the reusable bag in her tote as we browsed through the store.
We left the store within about 5 minutes and when I said goodbye to the employee at the front cashier, I noticed that her attitude changed. She wouldn’t even look at me. My daughter and I walked to my car and noticed that the cashier walked out of the store, towards my car and wrote down my license plate number. My car was only 1 of 2 or 3 cars in the parking lot. I rolled down my window and asked if she was writing down my plate number. The cashier turned away and walked back into the store so I parked and walked back inside to ask why she was writing my plate number down. She said that my daughter walked in with 2 bags and only left with one and she was going to go back and review the video. She took my plate number so that she had it in case my daughter stole something and said she wasn’t trying to accuse us of anything. I explained that, 1) she was exactly accusing us of stealing and 2) yes, my daughter had combined bags because we had just made a return at the pet store.
The manager, TJ (I think) walked up and asked what was going on. I told him I would wait and asked that he go review the recording so we could clear this up. He went to go review the recording but came back after a few minutes saying their camera system had just been changed overnight and not to worry about it. He said they also weren’t accusing us of anything.
I don’t even know what to say or how to feel about this experience. Saying they were not accusing me but acting outright rude and accusatory left a bad impression. I definitely will not be going back to this store. I grew up in this area and still live here. I love my neighborhood and was just telling my daughter how I appreciate how kind people are here. I’m not sure what the protocol is for dealing with theft but making customers who haven’t done anything wrong feel crappy doesn’t seem like it’s good for business.
