Dave went above and beyond at the ski shop to get my skis in right away, and Travis do a great job putting the work in on my skis! All 3 were friendly, knowledgeable and helpful, thanks again! She literally boxed me in to the point where I couldn’t move. I wasn’t near the doors, wasn’t acting suspicious, nothing. It was invasive, uncomfortable, and honestly felt like she thought I was about to steal or that she was about to confront me for no reason. I wish I had her name to report to management. This is the closest REI to my house but after that experience I won’t be back.

I came to this store today to try out and maybe buy some new stability shoes. We tried the Denver flagship store first, but the parking was all blocked off. This store had in stock several of the stability shoes I wanted to try, though not always in the colors I wanted. The employees who helped were very nice, and admitted their knowledge gaps while also going out of their way to help. I was able to try a clearance shoe and then I picked the color I wanted from the website. I wanted to make sure this store got some credit for the helpful and super nice employees, at least in the shoe department.

Better prices than Sportsmans House and Wallie Mart on the freeze dried foods. I was bummed that they don't carry backpacking tarps, shelter tarps. This store is smaller, so that might be the reason. The downtown store might carry some. I think the tent selection could be bigger as well. But what was there was a good range of quality and price. I will be back soon, my gear is getting dated and used for sure.
