  One of my favorite outdoor retailers, period. The REI in Glenwood Village consistently stocks everything I need — whether I'm gearing up for camping, travel, or a specific sport. The selection is impressively diverse and covers a wide range of activities and skill levels. What a lot of people overlook is how well-stocked this location is from an EDC (everyday carry) standpoint — honestly underrated in that regard. I make a point to stop in every time I'm in Colorado. The staff are the icing on the cake: plentiful, knowledgeable, and genuinely friendly. Never had a bad experience here. Highly recommend to anyone passing through the area!

  Top tier customer service and kindness from all of the staff, but one individual in particular made my experience. I had an issue with a purchase and this person without question made it right. So a thank you to them, but also to REI in general for setting the tone of how to be an awesome brick and mortar store in a painfully difficult to navigate online market. Standing ovation for showing up for your customers every time.

  Allison in the bike department at REI was incredible to work with. She went out of her way to rush and finish my bike before Saturday night so I could get out and ride it right away, which I really appreciated. The bike rides super smooth, and you can tell she put real care into making sure everything was dialed in perfectly. On top of that, she went above and beyond helping me get everything I needed, making the whole process easy and stress-free. If you’re getting a bike at REI, I highly recommend asking for Allison.

  I've been an REI member since 2008, but I'm now no longer a customer. No one was available to help me because I guess $50 sunglasses need to be locked up in cases. And when I finally got someone to open the case they said "I can open it but I don't actually know anything about sunglasses, that's someone else." OK.. So, what are you doing here??? While I was getting help the associate left to then help someone else! Hello! I wasn't finished shopping! Ugh. Beyond frustrating.

  I brought my sister to this REI, and she loved this store more than I do. She wanted some pants for snowboarding and she was very satisfied of their selections. She said that this store in Greenwood Village has more options available than in Boulder. She couldn't find what she really needed in Boulder as easily as she did here in Greenwood Village. Although she got the snow pants she needed, she wanted to go back and explore more options here before she moves back to Boulder. Thank you so much for giving my sister and easier experience. Shout out to Kasey for helping us find what she needed.
