- MHMaggie Hensle1 day ago1.0Super disappointed. Went in with pair of Leiki sticks that I was having trouble putting back together after a piece came unscrewed. Asked the gentleman in the repair area and he laughed at me saying "I have worked in three REIs and we never repair." Well I have done business with REI since 1993 and have had them repair two pairs of sticks, and snowshoe issue. I wont step into the Durango store again. Really rude.

After asking, the salesperson stuck around and it appeared they were surveilling us. It was disheartening to be treated like this, as we are REI members. My wife opted not to try anything on even though several items caught her eye. Not very much overall in this store compared to other REIs. Not worth the stop.

- CKClint KearnsSep 14, 20251.0Maybe when they decided to open a store in Durango, they should have figured out there is river right across the road from the store, and that people are in to water sports here. Walked in asked where kayak paddles were. A very nice friendly employee said "We don't have water sports in this store, but you can order on line." So that's what I did....came home on ordered on line....from Amazon.
