  I had an outstanding experience working with Gordon. He provided expert guidance in helping me select a bike that has been perfect for my needs months ago. Upon returning for a lock a couple of days ago, Gordon once again demonstrated deep product knowledge and a thoughtful, customer-focused approach. He was caring, thoughtful and very knowledgeable. His professionalism and consistency make a lasting impression. He is an amazing asset to REI and deserves a raise and a promotion!

  I had the best bike shopping experience ever thanks to Gordon in the bike department at REI. He really took the time to listen to what I needed, offered thoughtful suggestions, and was incredibly patient throughout the process. He taught me a lot about bike sizing and features, which made a huge difference in helping me feel confident about my decision. By the end, I was completely sure about the bike I chose—and I love it. Gordon didn’t stop there either—he helped me with every detail, from picking out the right lock to installing mounts and choosing lights for riding at night. I truly can’t thank him enough. He’s a standout employee and made the entire experience exceptional. Shoutout to Gordon!

  I have yet to enroll in the membership, but I have enjoyed my purchasing experience and the team members were kind. I bought a smartwatch by amazfit and it works okay, I didn't expect it to be perfect for the price but it has done a couple of things for me. It has helped me track my blood oxygen level to make sure I'm breathing enough, it has helped me wake up because it has a watch alarm and it vibrate. It makes you think a bomb is going off which is the level of wake up that I need. I also bought a few pairs of sunglasses for my self and my family, they loved them. I also brought some winter hats which are very comfortable also it's just a shame they'll be closing the bike path that runs behind REI so they can lay the pipes along it. I assume the construction will carry on for at least a year which means no riding. Shucks

  Awesome outdoor gear shop and inside it is really fancy and there is everything you could possibly need its huge, their lifetime membership also stood out to me cause its a really good deal and they have stuff for anything outdoors, I bought a pair of Microspikes though it is very busy there so certain colorways did sell out in certain sizes. But its 100 percent worth a visit if you are remotely interested in the outdoors.

  Sadly, every experience I have ever had at R.E.I. has been terrible. Tried to exchange a $10 gift from a hiking friend today. After having to pay for parking because it took longer than 60 minutes, waiting in line to make the return only to be quizzed on who gave me the gift to look up their information because I did not have a receipt (the box has their price label). Then they said she didn't purchase it. I thought it may have been purchased under partner's name but not sure they share the same last name...clock still ticking........ didn't matter that I just wanted a larger product because this one didn't fit. For real, it would have been helpful and saved me a ton of time if you would have had something at the beginning of the return line on what you need to return an item. I would have never made the effort for a $10 item. Department of Motor Vehicles has better customer service than you do! Shame on you R.E.I. I will be sharing this information on the trails.
