Had been looking for a beanie, called the store on our way through Denver back home to Wyoming. Tina answered our call, gave us a good laugh, answered all our questions, once we got to the store, it was easy to find the beanie right away, and head home. Tina is amazing, highly recommend her for all your REI questions.

I went to REI to pick up pants that were supposed to ship to the store instead of my house. Unfortunately, they are shopping to me. But I think it my mistake. However, I met an older woman in the men's department, Jan, who was terrific and helped me find a travel backpack that I ended up buying! Some of the best service I have received at REI in a while. Another woman in the shoe department helped me buy gaiters for my trip to Rwanda. She was great too.

Great flagship store, building with history. There are great and kind employees to help find and get what you need for your fun adventures!! Rock climbing wall inside. Everything you need. 3rd floor has the sale/pre-owned items. Always enjoy visiting as the location is right by the river. Starbucks inside

Service and selection were great as always but the trip took way, way longer than it should have due to the incredibly confusing, three-story layout of the store. It is very difficult to circle back to anything you were considering buying if you are on the wrong floor to begin with. I’ll probably be going to the Boulder location in the future, hopefully it will be a bit easier to navigate. Would also like to add that the parking situation is bizarre. Every other REI I’ve been to had a big parking lot and you just walked right on in.

It’s a big store with lots of products. But prices are bad, and they profiteer off of people who don’t know any better Story #1 - at end of summer, my mountain bike had a wobbly wheel. REI told me $300-500, said I need new wheel. EVO Denver fixed it for less than $50 Story #2 - I went during the workday to try on ski boots. This is like my 5th pair, I’ve been skiing for years. I waited in the store for literally an hour (mind you I specifically went in the middle of the work day to avoid waiting). Then they refused to give me the boots I wanted to try on cus they insisted on measuring my foot and telling me what I should get instead. Like just listen to your customer? Strange
