I really enjoyed my experience here! I am buying ski boots for the first time, and they are super thorough and intelligent with the fittings. Shout out to Zach, he was a rockstar at finding me the perfect boot. Definitely come here for all your ski needs! Thank you Zach and team!

I recently bought a full new ski setup with Epic Mountain Gear and received impeccable service. My boot fitting, especially, was more than I could’ve imagined or asked for. Zach helped me find the perfect boots, and along with being a wealth of knowledge, it was obvious that he cared about me finding the right fit rather than just buying a product. He poured careful attention into helping me understand my foot shape and I walked away extremely satisfied with the boot we landed on. If you’re gonna drop big bucks on gear drop them here

Had a great experience getting fitted for skis, boots, bindings, etc. Ask for Sam- he was not only kind and patient throughout the whole process, but incredibly knowledgeable and happy to answer any technical questions I had about why certain things changed the skiing experience, where to cut costs vs where it was worth it to upgrade, etc. Walked away with the most comfortable boot fit of my life!

Came here a year ago and had such awesome help buying a snowboard, boots and bindings that we chose to come back to buy more snowboard boots and a snowboard helmet. We were told at 0930 no one would be able to help us with snowboard boots until 1100. So we picked out a snowboard helmet (with no help) and a toddler strider bike (no help) while we waited for someone to help us with snowboard boots. At 1130 we were told no one would be able to help us until 1200. Tons of employees walking around but no one able to help with snowboard boots. I would have tried on some clothes but the dressing rooms are locked. And the bathroom was disguisting and had no soap So we left leaving the helmet and strider bike. The kicker is we want to support local shops and past dozens choosing to come to this particular shop, unfortunately we will order online and not come back

I came in with a friend to get his ski boots fitted and was met with extremely unprofessional and used car salesman vibes with the one who did the boot fitting.
It started off fine with measurement but told
him we were on a lower budget, he told us that it would be “extremely hard” to find any boots with that price… which is entirely untrue.
He did find a nice pair of boots that were a little above price range but nothing crazy, and then proceeded to tell us that it was almost mandatory to purchase their $85 “premium fit” package. I have been skiing my whole life and know that you do NOT need to have custom molded insoles for your boots. He even went so far as to say every single person in this store and even MANUFACTURERS say that is vital to buy their custom molded insoles. This is not true and is something that should be up to the customer, not being mandated and up-charged by the boot fitter.
Regardless, I understand they are told to push the package, but telling us that it was necessary to purchase them directly from Epic really bothered me, and after I told him that we would not be purchasing the upgraded package, he walked away for around 20 minutes.
When he came back I then asked him if we could do the heat molding that comes with the purchase price of the boot when getting a boot fitting done. He told me he could not do this and that it was only part of the upgraded package. This is not true and is in fact explicitly stated on the boot fitting sign they have in the store that states the heat molding is included in the free boot fitting with the purchase of boots. He once again walked away for a while and then came back stating that he could “allow it”. (Even the other boot fitting workers seemed fed up with how he was treating us, and told us that the heat molding was in fact part of the free boot fitting). Once the liners were heated, he placed them in the boot and walked away without giving any further instruction. Luckily I have done this before and was able to tell my friend what to do, since the worker did not provide instructions.
Overall, it seemed the employee we dealt with seemed to be very pushy and very intent to upsell and nickel and dime us at every corner. The other employees seemed much more considerate and I wish we had gotten one of them who could suit needs better. (Not everyone needs the most high-end custom fitted gear!!! Some people have a budget and know what they want!!!)
