  Simply amazing experience. Kyle was fantastic! We were provided top-notch gear, superb yet casual instruction, and we caught sufficient numbers of both browns and rainbows that we actually lost count. Would HIGHLY recommend. Can't wait to return.

  My friend and I have patronized Taylor Creek Fly Shop for several years during our twice annual trips to fish the Frying Pan and Roaring Fork rivers. The staff have always been incredibly helpful with advice. This year we wanted a guide to help us refine our knowledge and skills. We were connected with Jerry Pazar who has been guiding in the area for a couple of decades. Great guide; great teacher; great personality; and not only changed up our game on the Frying Pan, got us into many, many fish!

  To say my day was exceptional does NOT do it justice. As a newbie angler I was fortunate enough to visit and fish with the Taylor Creek team. First impression was a meticulous shop of which was very obvious that the entire team shares an unparalleled passion for this sport/ lifestyle. Scott and his colleagues were welcoming, informative, and just genuine good guys to chat with. Then came the main card. We were paired up with “the guide named Brandon”……Turns out Brandon is Basalt fishing royalty.😂 His knowledge of the river, fish, and history of the area made it feel like I was taking a masterclass. On top of that all Brandon is a really good guy and helped an elementary skilled fisherman land countless fish with ease and was patient with all of my flubs. Thank you again to the entire team of Taylor Creek. I am counting down the days to my return.

  I was very pleased with my experience with Taylor Creek Fly Fishing Shop. The personnel at the shop were very accommodating. Though I fly fish a lot it was still helpful that they have an online check list to make sure you have not forgotten anything. Kosma was the guide that they scheduled with us. He did a fantastic job connecting with us the night before the trip to confirm all arrangements. He was on time when he met us at the shop and quickly got us out on the Frying Pan river to fish. I had booked a whole day trip for my son and I. We caught a lot of fish which could not have been easy for Kosma, but he was always there with the net. Even though I am an experienced fly fisherman I learned a ton from him. Kosma is probably the best guide I have ever worked with. He was very friendly and knowledgeable. He worked his butt off to make sure my son and I had a wonderful day of fishing. I would highly recommend Taylor Creek Fly Fishing Shop and Kosma to anyone.
