Epic Mountain Gear, founded in 2014, has re-imagined the mountain retail experience for skis, snowboards, and bikes in Aurora, Boulder, Colorado Springs, Frisco, Littleton, Park Meadows and Westminster. These ski shops in the winter and bike shops in the summer, will continue to provide exceptional customer service and expertise, carry the best brands of mountain gear and provide services that include rentals, tunes, the Junior Trade Program and more. They will also provide access to an Epic service desk, which will sell and reprint Epic Pass products as well as lift tickets, ski school lessons and Epic Discovery passes.
Many customers praised the staff for being knowledgeable, friendly, and helpful, with specific mentions of employees like Roddy, Jeremy, and Mikey.

Today we took our teen daughter to purchase her first set of skis. When we first arrived there was a wait list. While we waited for our number to be called, we had the good fortune of running into Roddy. I knew at that moment that I wanted to work with him.
Roddy was nothing short of fantastic. He was extremely patient and sought several options to meet my daughter’s needs. He listened and showed empathy as my daughter wrestled with making her final decision. I am certain that other members of the staff would have done a great job getting us the right equipment, but Roddy made a difference in our shopping experience.

By far the best Epic Store in Colorado! Bradley was incredibly knowledgeable with helping pick out the best ski boots for me, and giving my husband and I great ski advice for maintenance and performance. Evan topped off the experience at checkout with his “dad jokes” and even went out in the parking lot to hand us the receipt I left on the counter. Great group taking a larger chain store and making it super personable.

Two exceptional experiences here in the past week.
I have never found ski boots that fit (despite spending tons for custom fittings and adjustments at a different dedicated boot fitting shop) I came in for a premium boot fitting appointment and Bradley was extremely knowledgeable, helpful, patient, and walked me through the pros and features of 4 different boots. It’s the first time in 3 decades that I had more than a pair of boots that were small enough and stiff enough for my level of skiing. And it’s the first time in my adult life I have boots that are actually my size, my performance level, AND don’t cut off the circulation in my feet when they’re buckled.
Earlier in the week, we dropped in with a kid/teen on a budget getting his first adult setup, which we know he’ll outgrow quickly in both abilities and size, and Jeremy went out of his way to help him find the right skis for his situation and steer him towards a much better but older model (and much more affordable) pair of boots.
(I noted their names because they spent so much time helping. I couldn’t recommend this place more.)
