  Pete, our guide was awesome! We had a great time and enjoyed every minute of it. Sarah was also very helpful and actually gave us a chance to change our booking to a date where the weather was better. I definitely recommend 6 Rivers Rafting for your white water rafting adventures!

  Couldn't wait to get home and write an excellent review about our day on the Trinity River with Six Rivers Rafting. Pete took our reservation well after hours by phone the night before our trip. Instructions were super clear, from driving directions, to what to bring, to how the plan of the day would go. Pete was an excellent guide, of course. He had us prepared to do all of the serious rapids, and then he did fun things to make the simpler rapids extra entertaining. Add to it that we got beautiful weather, excellent water levels, and plenty of wildlife to enjoy. It was a great day with Six Rivers Rafting. I'd recommend them to anyone.

  ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ PETE: The Dude of the River ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ If Jeff Bridges ever decided to trade his White Russian for a paddle and channel *The Dude* into a whitewater rafting guide, you’d get Pete from 6 Rivers Rafting. We booked a trip for my friend’s 30th birthday, thinking it would be a relaxing river float with maybe a few splashes. What we *actually* got was a full-blown river adventure/comedy show/survival course—all led by the most laid-back, hilarious, river-loving human this side of Humboldt County. From the jump, Pete made safety a priority (which, frankly, was needed because we are not a subtle group—more like 10 caffeinated golden retrievers in helmets). But he did it all with humor, confidence, and enough charm to make you trust him with your life and your lunch. He cracked jokes, told river lore, guided us through rapids like a Zen master, and somehow kept everyone in the raft *and* in stitches. At one point I laughed so hard I nearly fell overboard—Pete didn’t even flinch. The man is unflappable. And cooler than a Yeti on a glacier. It’s obvious Pete genuinely *loves* these rivers. He knows every bend, rock, and hidden gem in Humboldt County like they’re old friends. The way he talks about the land and the water—it’s not just a job to him, it’s a calling. So if you’re looking for a rafting trip with thrills, laughs, and a guide who channels *The Dude* but with a life vest and a paddle, look no further. Pete abides. And we highly recommend you let him guide you down the wild side of Humboldt. 11/10 — would follow this man into the splash zone again and again. 🛶😂🌲

  WOW! That was amazing. We did a half day trip down trinity river and I cannot recommend enough. Sara and Pete were amazing. We are Canadians travelling in our van with our cat and we have been limited on what adventures we can do since we don’t have AC in the van and cannot leave our cat unattended when it’s hot. We called with the strangest request and Sara happily offered to take care of our cat while we went rafting. Not only did she walk him for us she even gave us fresh catnip from their garden to go home with 🥹 Our tour guide was Wiley and he was awesome!!! He was very experienced, knowledgeable, accommodating and funny and we had such a fantastic time! We even stopped to cliff jump! Definitely plan on returning in the future for one of their overnight trips. 20/10 experience. If you were waiting for a sign - this is it! BOOK YOUR ADVENTURE NOW 😍 you will not regret it! Thanks to the Six Rivers Rafting Team! You guys are the best.
