- JQJay Quella4 days ago4.0I had a 2:10 pm tee time at Native Oaks Golf Club this past Sunday and was hoping to finish all 18 before sunset. The front nine moved at a great pace and the course itself was in excellent condition. Fairways are fairly wide but the layout is still challenging, and the greens rolled true all day. Unfortunately, the back nine slowed to a crawl. The group ahead of us was playing from the tips, hitting multiple tee shots, and at one point they were even giving detailed lessons on the tee box while several groups stacked up behind them trying to beat sunset. It really felt like this was a situation where a marshal should have stepped in to help keep things moving, especially for late-afternoon tee times when daylight matters. Great course overall, but pace-of-play management on busy afternoons could definitely be improved.
