- MNMark NeyhardNov 1, 20255.0Played Oct 26,2025. The course had posted they were doing maintenance from 1-31. Although the rough was 3-6" and the fairways were 2-2.5" the course played ok. The greens were fantastic as they rolled at a good speed. Almost all putts were straight. Loved the layout and hope to get back to CA from Kansas City and play it when you get some roll in the fairways and the rough is more playable. The starter and manager were so great. The starter told me the correct tee boxes and how to play the course....especially after he learned I was a starter at my course in Kansas City. The manager was so pleasant and told me next time I come to CA call ahead and he will set me up with tee time and discount.

Great staff, great practice facility. More importantly, the tee boxes and fairways and greens are well maintained. One of the best deals you can find in all SD county.

Hope to be back soon. Everything at this course is very well maintained, the back nine is where the challenges are. Some great signature tee boxes and greens.
