  I have been through many golf coaches over the years and I can say that Golftec has really helped me a lot compared to the others. Coach Kevin is awesome and is always patient with his detailed explanations. It is a little more expensive than previous lessons but worth it because of the results. I find the after lesson reviews detailed and very helpful with videos of your swing and what you went over with lines showing angles and voice overs exhaling what you are watching. There are also videos of other players swings for comparisons of what you need to be working towards. Lastly there are drills to work on your swing between lessons. I find all this detail a great way to continue progress between lessons and lock in what you worked on. The one negative about Golftec I would say is that they are a little strict on the time of the appointments with a countdown clock and try to sell their practice plan add on as an answer. When I take lessons elsewhere like a driving range I can show up early to warm up or stay a few minutes late to continue working after and that isn't really an option here.

  Going to Golftec has been a great decision. Kevin at the Torrance location is a great coach. He doesnt bombard me with a lot of things to work on and just focuses on a couple items each session. He is patient and also he really uses the tech to show me the big things so my golf game thrives.

  I’ve had an outstanding experience learning from my instructor, Kevin Alba. His instructions are clear, concise, and delivered with a step-by-step approach that makes it easy to build on each part of the swing as the lessons progress. In just ten sessions, Kevin’s guidance has helped me make simple yet significant improvements to my swing while eliminating many of my old bad habits. I look forward to continuing my lessons with him—it’s been a truly enjoyable and rewarding experience.

  GOLFTEC is so much better than just going to a driving range. The crew at this location is all great and I have been taking lessons from Kevin who has been fantastic with helping me improve. Our styles have meshed really well and we have been realistic about where to tweak versus change, etc.. In the last 3-4 months I've gone from a low 90's golfer to a low 80's golfer with breaking 80 once already as well. More importantly, I have learned a ton, know how to practice with more purpose and can see my way to getting more rounds under 80 as I keep putting the knowledge to practice. Nothing beats the immediate feedback from the stats on the screen when you are practicing so you know what you are doing right or wrong. Sprinkle in some lessons every few weeks to learn more and then put it to practice. This is one investment that is definitely worth it!!

  Very professional instructors; obviously well-trained and experienced at helping all levels of golfers improve. The technology is amazing with video analysis of form and swing, including side-by-side comparison with professional men and women golfers. Each lesson and practice instructions are emailed immediately after the session to help between lessons. My husband and I both enjoy and benefit from the lessons from Matt Newby.
