  I recently purchased a pair of Ski Boots at the Sunnyvale store and received excellent customer service from Ernie. He was very patient, listened to my specific performance needs, and helped me get a perfect fit. Thank you for making REI my favorite outdoor store!

  Very typical prices for popular high-quality brands like Patagonia, Arcteryx etc... However, the hidden gems at REI are the returned items. They are like new, but sold at a fraction of the price. I found amazing hiking shoes for 80$ rather than 280$. Definitely worth it!

  Understaffed, you will not get any help there. I went to the place on a weekend and asked a staff in another section for help in the climbing section because I want to get advice on the shoes fitting. However we waited 10 more minutes still no one came. Then we asked for help one more time and waited there for at least another 15 mins. Still no one helped us. Will not come to this store again. In my opinion, the sports basement is also nearby and has way better services.

  We had such a fantastic experience today at REI, thanks to Joe! He went above and beyond, spending a generous amount of time with us to make sure my son was fully prepared for his new journey into BSA. Joe was incredibly patient and knowledgeable, helping my son choose all the right gear from a compact sleeping bag and mat to a pillow and water bottle. The highlight was definitely the hiking backpack. Joe carefully sized it to fit him perfectly now, while also ensuring it has room to grow with him, which we really appreciated. What stood out most was how invested Joe was in making this a positive and exciting experience for my son. He made him feel confident and ready for all the hiking and camping adventures ahead. We are so grateful for the time and care Joe gave us today. Thanks to him, my son is all set and even more excited for his BSA journey. Highly recommend asking for Joe if you visit REI!

  Gawkee from the bike shop at REI Sunnyvale was amazing! He was very understanding and knowledgeable. I mentioned I had a race coming up and took care of all my need as fast as possible I really appreciate everything he did to take care of my bike and my issues I had a good amount!! Very satisfied Will be back soon!
