I'm not a good bike owner, and it apparently pained this guy to hear my chain in need of lubrication. He offered to just lubricate the bike chain for me. I took him up on it, and there was zero pressure to move up from my beater bike. He genuinely just wanted to help my bike along a little. Once he lubricated the chain for me, he was like, "Have a nice evening." He didn't just want to get me into the store. I take it that he genuinely loved bikes and hated to see a bike treated like I treat mine. Those guys are the real deal. That was actually a couple of years ago. And then just the other day I went in there and Phil did a free little quick thing for me. It was a super quick fix for him and he just did it on the spot, without charge. Definitely the place to go.
