  We must have hit a bad day for the staff - it was made clear that they would make absolutely no accommodation for our pre-teen grandchildren bowlers. They refused to provide any light weight (juvenile) balls and refused to raise the “gutter ball” barriers. Their reason was that our granddaughters were over 9 years old. So they had “fun” being very frustrated watching most of their balls go down the gutter. The staff acted like they/we were in a professional league play. For FAMLY fun-I cannot recommend the Santa Cruz Boardwalk Bowl.

  Love this place been coming here for a minute my only issue is the new hours me and many of my friends work in the service industry and we would tend to go bowling after we got off work around 10.. however since they close around 11 now it just doesn't seem worth it. Would love for them to at least be open until 12 again. Seems like a pretty stupid move on whoever made the decision, as I can't see how The place would be loosing money. I've seen the place packed on a random Tuesday night till 12 plus coasters after the lanes close..

  Ana is the kindest employee I’ve ever met, and is always extremely sweet and helpful, even when it’s crowded and busy. Thank you to the boardwalk bowl for countless positive nights

  They don’t kick people out when they start fights with paying customers. Calling people obscenities and trying to get physical isn’t enough reason for them apparently. And also only offered half the amount paid as a refund.
