  If you wear a 12.5, there are no options available, which is exclusionary. By their own philosophy, this is a lack of inclusivity based on shoe size. For a brand that promotes inclusion, not offering half sizes above 12 contradicts that message. If you go online, and they are all sold out. Checked 4 different types of shoes that they carry That said, the manager here is strong and does a good job. I saw a job listing for them come up in Google, $19-$21 is not livable wage for Santa Barbara. Starting wage unskilled labor in construction is $24.

  I brought my MTB e-bike in for a warranty repair. The diagnostic required a few parts that had to be ordered, which was outside of REI’s control, so the process took a little time. Throughout it all, Mario kept me informed and provided regular updates as parts arrived and the repairs moved forward. There was a mix-ups with the bike warranty repair payment, but Mario stepped in and helped sort everything out. Mario is a solid tech who clearly takes pride in his work. I really appreciated the communication and professionalism, and I wouldn’t hesitate to bring my bike here again.

  BEWARE REI SCAM!!! This backhanded company is trying to take your cash and turn it to their reward points. Keep close eyes on bank statements after returns. I've had several issues where this scummy business does not refund the full cash amount but rather refunds a portion in rei points, silently converting US cash to their currency. Store employees will tell you that the full amount is being refunded to you. They are lying.
