- AOAlma OrtizDec 21, 20251.0We have been part of this league and have always been appreciative of the time and effort that goes into organizing youth sports. However, after our recent experience in the final, we were left astonished. Very disappointed with how this league handled our children’s final. According to the league’s own rules and regulations, if a player is not wearing the same uniform as their teammates, that team automatically loses the match. During the final, the opposing team violated this rule. When we pointed this out, the league chose to ignore its own regulations and sided with the other coach. We were pressured to go to penalties, even though—by their written rules—the game had already been decided in our favor. It was clear that the decision was not based on fairness or integrity, but on what benefited the league. This sends a terrible message to the kids and parents who expect honesty and consistency. Unfortunately, this league appears unprofessional and willing to change outcomes when it suits them. I would not recommend it to families looking for fair competition. This experience revealed a lack of professionalism and fairness that we did not expect. Youth sports should model integrity and accountability, and it was disappointing to see rules applied selectively.
