He was also very helpful in giving me advice on what to look out for in feel and fit so that it helped with my heel pain. Really welcoming and great service all in all!

I recently bought shoes here and within 4 months they cause my numbing pain in my ankle and shin, knees ache etc. REI didn’t make shoes that don’t work for me but they did sell them and I guess with all the marketing and them being a “co-op” an all this BS I thought they would be understanding, try to remedy the situation to what extent they could. I would have gladly taken any amount of store credit as I would have just turned right around and bought new shoes. But no, they won’t stand behind the products they sell, I will never shop with REI, there are plenty of other options.

But how their staff made me feel when I was leaving there store. I doubt if I will ever go back now. I had a cute vest in a hands debating if I wanted to break the bank or not. As I was walking to pay all of a sudden I realized the two employees were starring at me in a very uncomfortable way. Their faces were so uncomfortable that I didn't even want to be in the store anymore so I handed the vest to the clerk and then I walked out. The man and woman were just praying the doors were going to beep. But they didn't because I had done nothing wrong. Right after I went thru the doors I think I may have even heard an employee say they should call the police I think. I was so shocked at that point. How rude are the night employees at Roseville REI. I've spent tons of money at your store and for them to assume I'm stealing based off of just looking at me. That's so wrong and illegal. Idk. Maybe I should ask my families lawyer if I can do something about this because you can treat a person like that. I've never felt so judged and embarrassed. If they would have been nice to me while I was walking to the cash register to pay I would have bought that vest. This is how REI treats people now!! They should be written up or something. That was so wrong of those two employees.
