If you would like to experience the wonderland of northern California, the JGW RV Park is a great spot to have as a home base.. Within an hour’s drive from our park are lakes, caverns, waterfalls, museums, gold rush ruins, and state and national parks for you to enjoy. Redding is the major transportation artery for northern California. JGW RV Park is a prime location for you to spend a day, a week, or a month before continuing on your journey.

- PWP WellmanOct 16, 20255.0We stayed here for one night on a trip from Southern California to Oregon. Park is located along Riverland Drive about 2 miles south of the Freeway exit. You pass a couple mobile home parks along the way. Well maintained park, friendly check-in, and quiet. We were in site 43 which was on a concrete pad as are most of the sites. We were able to use it as a pull thru as no one was in the other half of the pad. Nice separation between sites with oleanders and shrubs. Each site has a picnic table as well. The noise from I5 was noticeable if you listened for it, but much less than I expected. We also were able to occasionally hear a train which was a mile to the west over the river. The walk along the river bank is peaceful.
